The Harmon Kardon AVR 4000 home cinema amp gives an amazing performance. This amp really is worth considering if you are in the market for an AV amp for around £450. If you look carefully though you should be able to pick one up for around £300. Ask your local hifi store if you could have a listen yourself, remember to take a piece of music or dvd you know really well.
