I have never owned a better car.
Have both owned and driven many cars from Fiestas to LWB vans and have never had a car so practical and cost effective.
If you want a car with plenty of space, thats cheap to run and both reliable and good fun this Nissan Micra K11 1.0 is the car for you.

Havn't been driving long but my little Micra is smashing! Im getting on for 6ft 4" and they is pently of room for me and three of my friends. Suprisingly nippy for a 1.0, ive been in lots of other cars (mates and family) and they all seemd sluggish, especially my mom's renault clio!! The boot is a good size, can easily fit all my girlfriend's shopping, lol! But the best bit about my micra is the fuel economy! Im getting about 150miles to £10 (THATS 6.5P A MILE!!)

    Would, and have, re ...

I've owned 2 a shape and black nissan micra on a 51 plate both excellent cars performance for a sub 1 litre car is impressive surprising drivers of larger cars around town. On the motorway it will cruse happily all day at 70 and return between 40-50 mpg. I'm over 6ft and have plenty of head and leg room, the boot is reasonable for shopping and day to day use. I've had one breakdown caused by mass airflow sensor otherwise trouble free. I would not hesitate to recommend these little cars, their ch ...

Have had 2, shape and L (base) model, shape was N reg, current is K reg and is better - is liing proof that looking after your car pays off!!! both have had issues with clutch, i guess this is what you get for buying a car at nearly 100k, but not expensive and i will be getting this done, once done it will be in top condition, unbelievably reliabe, cheap as chips to run, sips at petrol no matter how you drive it, ie rag it to bits or to half a ton trailer (any police reading it was 350kg!!!) but ...

Fuel efficient, nippy, compact, reliable. Generally a highly recommended and reliable car; I rarely hear bad things from owners of Micras.

I have owned 2 micra's, both 1 litre, first was shape, 2nd was just the L model, both great, have done reasonable heavy towing and they keep up! would still have my first if I hadn ' t unfortunately had a shunt into back of someone - if your going to crash don ' t do it these - they are weaker than tin- I literally got out of car and bent wings, bonnet, rad support, headlight supports back into shape with just my hands!2nd one is having issues with engine which I have not yet found cause, it is ...

Generally the Nissan Micra is reliable and touch wood no breakdowns so far. Minor issues such as CD player jumping, even with new one (annoying), clunking gears, and strangely, a mirror on sun visa on drivers side but not other side!
Passenger side door doesnt always shut properly.

Overall the Micra is a great car. It has a struggle keeping up with the big boys but, as long as its serviced regularly then it will never let you down. We have had only had 2 times where ours wouldn't start, and I believe it was down to dirty fuel. The Micra is very reliable and is ideal for a first car. The one problem I have is that I'm 5ft 11 and my seat won't go back far enough for me to be completely comfortable, so long journeys can be a bit of a discomfort. But hey I love my Micra.

The Micra or March K11 series year 2000 is a very good and dependable family car.
This car is technically sound and very reliable. It's also quite economical.

I have owned my 1998 1.3GX Micra for three years. Its probably the meanest looking factory built model, with black paint, tinted glass, sun roof, sports alloys and fat (stuck on a standard exhaust) exhaust finisher. I find the 1.3 engine punchy and responsive in the city, and surprisingly powerful and long legged on the motorway. I think Nissan got the design perfect with this model. It just looks right, with its tough compact body and clean simple lines. The all round visibility is the best of ...

I had to buy a car that would suit the wife and our new-born baby. Budget was not an isssue in this purchase. We were simply looking for a vehicle that would suit them for pottering about and doing their bits and bobs.

We looked at several cars including the Nissan Micra, Ford Ka, Vauxhall Corsa and Peugeot 107.

After test driving them all, we agreed the Nissan Micra suited us and contentrated our search upon this vehicle.

At this time we knew exactly what we were after and started to l ...

Does anyone know if the 1.4 16v engine out of the Almera fits the Micra? I'm after upgrading the engine. I got a quote for a turbo conversion and it'll cost aprox 3k to get 165 bhp from the 1.0 16v.

I had a K10 (square micra) for 3 years which was really reliable. Then I got a fiesta, which was not. Now I have a '98 version (revised headlights) Nissan Micra K11 1.0l GX spec. I do a lot of driving for work in town and in the country. I find that, despite being sub 1litre, the little micra has enough poke to keep up with the traffic and really does not mind being revved. It has only not started twice (dodgy battery terminal) in 12 months. The car is easy to park but the boot does not seem as ...
