Good Points: Great looks, even though they have been around for a while, people still turn heads when they see a shiny looking merc on the street. I use the car on a regular day to day basis to get from home to work. It does 30MPG no worries. If you have the Audio 20 and CD changer you will be able to listen to MP3 CD's but only the first 99 tracks will play so thats 594 Tracks ... who needs an iPod...

Bad Points: I have an auto box, and has jerked once or twice when changing gears, usually tranny fluid. Watch our for rear windows letting out of alignment then you will hear air coming through the gaps. A piller covers on the inside tend to get loose and have to be refitted due to people slamming doors. Locking system every so often decides to unlock itself when driving. Colour match are almost impossible in pearlesant Black, after 3 attempts of local dealer respraying an offending area, they have still not been able to match 100%, try not to crash... you will regret it.. seat handles tend to get sticky and need a mighty tug to move the seat to sit in the rear.

General comments: All in all, its a great car to drive, I have owned my 2005 Facelist CLK200 K for over a year now and looking to get another very soon, the 1.8 engine is sufficient to pull the car and does not feel underpowered, the super charger does a great car and you wont feel you have such a small engine.

This is the cheapest of the new look Mercedes CLK range that debuted mid 2002.
The look of this car speaks for itself and is destined to be another classic. The engine is a supercharged 1.8l 4 cylinder unit and this may seem small for a car with sporty pretensions but believe me it does not lack for power or smoothness. If you are going to buy a CLK test drive the entry level one before putting your money down on another with a larger engine.
