I have just got one today the most accurate and powerful air pistol on the market nothing can touch them for the price. Both well made and reliable. I have seen 30 year old examples still working well I have fitted mine with a shoulder stock and a HAWK red dot sight it works brilliant. PAUL BAKER WINSFORD CHESHIRE CW71FE (read more)

For less than $70 you can not expect an Olympic grade air pistol. Still this is one of the best and most fun buys you can make. It is powerful and accurate at a cost nearly anyone can afford. The fact that anyone can flip the sites to an aperture rear. This site can be drilled to a larger size to accommodate the distance at arms length. Look on You Tube for the many mods. The only downside is that follow up shots take a long time due to pumping so it is important to make sure the first... (read more)

The latest version of this gun with the bolt action loading is a great improvement over the older guns. The power is very high with 10 pumps, just be careful not to pinch your skin between the pump handle and trigger guard (easy to do). The accuracy is very good too, it's recoiless and has a long barrel. The biggest problem is the terrible trigger! Far to heavy and very, very creepy - you have to hold the gun on aim whilst steadily increasing the pressure until eventually the trigger blade... (read more)

one can ignore the plastic considering the internal qualities and mods available. the plastic handles are strong and durable anyway. this is a very powerful and accurate gun at ten meters plus, the trigger has a wobble and the safety is a bit weak but again every part can be modified, I have modified mine cosmetically as in uk we dont exceed 6 ftlb which it must get near as It out powers the 2240 at half the noise level. the mods are quite expensive which is a down side but that just makes... After the squirrels dug-up my flower garden, ate the rose buds and chewed holes in our watering hoses, I couldn't take it anymore. I am a novice and bought the 1377. I found it easy and remarkably accurate to shoot. Now, Rocky, Chip, Dale and some of their chums have gone hosta la bye bye and hopefully my garden will look better this year. I wish I knew more about the right kind of pellets to use when I purchased it. (read more)

Very pleased with this pistol. No wonder why it is still in production since the 70s.
I like the variable pumping for different shooting needs. Give it 2-3 pumps and you got a noiseless quick and tireless indoor target shooter. Pump it to 6-10 for outdoor pest hunting duties.
The long barrel helps alot for accuracy and velocity.
The main complain is the cheepo feel of the plastic handle and pump grip although it is sturdy enough to do the job fine.
Highly recommended at this price point. You...

Bought Crosman's 1377 this morning at a bargain £75 (well a bargain in the UK anyway) and had chosen the 1377 based on reviews and am decision for a low fuss, low maintenance, plinking rat-smacker.
Have already put 50+ diabolo pointers through it and am overjoyed with my choice!
Not too happy with the wobbly grips but if I can't get customs I'll silicone those. Also, 10 pumps and the round seems to jump - maybe that'll even out.
Tested it on a grouping and was very happy. 2" isn't a...

A good friend gave me a 1377 and I love it. To counter the nose heavy attitude it has, I just leave the cocking lever down at 90 degrees after pumping. It serves as a grip and stabilizer. After firing, close the lever to original position and you will leave one pump of air to seal the o-rings. Great fun. Thanks for the gift David! -John (read more)

I have owned Crosman 1377 for just over 3 months and have put over 4000 rounds thru it with zero complaints. Keep in mind what you spend on this gun. There is no better deal out there. I shoot 25 feet into a home made pellet trap in my basement. The sights are decent and all I had to do was lengthen the vertical screw slot in the rear blade so I could lower it smidge more. The plastic grips moved around a bit until I placed a drop of silicone type glue in two places on each grip where it... (read more)

I had one of these great little pumps as a teenager in the mid 80's. It was plenty accurate and it's light weight and smallish size made it a breeze to lug around the Southern California hills. Powerful enough for small critters too.
I decided to pick up a new version recently and was not disappointed. You won't win any target competitions with the 1377 but it is still a blast to shoot. I got the stock to duplicate the version I had before. It makes for a quick and stable platform. ...

GREAT PISTOL--POWERFUL NOT FOR KIDS. iUSE 10.5 GRAIN .177 AND THATS 10FPE GREAT IF YOU HAVE A SQUIRREL PROBLEM. ACCURACY DEPENDS ON THE RIGHT PELLET USE POINTED ONES. ACCURACY AT 45 YARDS IS DIFFICULT SO DONT DISPATCH ANYTHING YOU WANT TO KILL UNLESS ITS INSIDE THIS RANGE. iVE BEEN SHOOTING PNEUMATICS SINCE 1968 AND AM A MARKSMAN. I just bought the Crosman 1377C to be a "rebuild" kit for my 20 year old Crosman 1389 Backpacker. Since I couldn't get a loader seal for my old Crosman, I figured I'd just take the forend and grips off and install them on a new 1377C. After I checked my new 1377C for function, that's exactly what I did!
I will say that the sear spring in the new 1377C is made of thicker wire and therefore stronger than my old 1389's sear spring. That definitely accounts for the much heavier trigger on the...

Ilove this airpistol. It is very powerful and am using 11.5 grain pellets for 9 plus foot pounds. It will knock a squirrel off its feet and have put two tosleep, 5 in 2 hours. If target practice is your thing you are right at home. i have owned a crosman 760 air rifle and a mark 2 from the 1969 era and these two guns are no match for the 1377c.I would love crosman to make wood grips for this baby and would like to know if possible where to get some. I owned this Pistol as a teenager from about 1988-1992 along with the Crosman 357-6 and the 2100 classic rifle. I spent many a summer plinking and hunting small game for hours and even days on end in our local woods.
Power- For a pistol you really couldn't ask for more. Try some different brands / styles of ammo for different results. 600+ FPS is no joke.
Accuracy- With practice even small targets at 100 feet can be hit with consistency.
Durability- 4 years of heavy use with no failures/...

It's amazing what the Crosman 1377c gun provides for the money. It's surprisingly accurate, as powerful as similiar guns costing twice the price and is just a joy to own. The only downside is the cheap plastic handle and forearm but there are wood replacements easily sourced. This gun is great for modding or cheap fun out of the box. I had one of the original Crosman 1322's. I bought in 1979. It only started messing up 3 years ago. There are apparently no parts available. The new 1377 model is definitely not made as well but the cost was about only 10$ cheaper than what I paid 20 years ago. {99$ to 79$} I think even if it lasts half as long it is the best value on the market today. The Crosman 1377c is very accurate and powerful for an air pistol at such a low price and made in the USA with a 800 number at Crosman if you
wish to contact them for any reason. By adding the $30.00 steel breech you can add any 3/8 dovetail red dot or scobe and still have an inexpensive well made gun. Slow to reload and pump but that's known before you purchase it and the plus side of pumping is you can control the velocity.

After I got this, I spent all day shooting bbs out of it because I didn't read the instructions at first. My shooting improved considerably after I started using Daisy flat-top pellets. I've had this pistol for two years now, and I shoot it a lot. 3 pumps at 25' are dead nuts, using crosman H/P's. The rear sight needs to be replaced, but crosman has the up grade. 5 pumps will shoot right thru a starling at 30' using crosman pointed pellets. they take off, then crash kamikaze style. One thing I will say is, if you take the gun apart to clean/modify/etc., be extremely careful with that breech seal! Mine disappeared itself so another one had to be stuffed in the next order.
