Good Points: Size
Bad Points: Weight, small screen, short battery life, unresponsive keypad
General comments: Ericsson T10 - This was the first phone I owned. I wasn't very enthusiastic about it but it was the only phone I could buy. The screen was very small and could only display a couple of lines of text. The keypad was awfully slow and unresponsive. The battery life was short and the weight of the battery was really making the phone too heavy. But the power of the vibration was acceptable though.

I like the Ericsson T10 very much. I have two of them and they have never caused any problems. I use a V100 for text messages so don't have a problem in that area!- Read Greg290352's review (54 words)

As a phone comes this is a small and handy phone, ideal for a new starter, But after a few goes I am sure they would ditch it and get a different make.- Read palyniam's review (67 words)

A compact and simple mobile phone. Has become increasingly unreliable with sim card and battery probems recently. It has very limited capabilities in comparison with most modern day mobile phones, but it is relativly robust and can cope with quite a pounding. Very old and very dated but if you want a phone simply as a phone then this one would suit the purpose.- Read Raspeir's review (136 words)

well, a phone that switches itself off and where the screen dies if you are lucky enough for it to work at all is no good is it. It has happened to every person that I know who has owned one so I'm surprised that it is still being sold. a disgrace for ericsson- Read sweetsista's review (56 words)

After a month my Ericsson T10 mobile phone kept saying 'insert SIM card' intermittently - this worsened until it was unusable - 2 trips for repair later it still happens occasionally - it is the power to the SIM reader (it works fine if plugged into the charger). I would be happy if I could rely on it switching on, but I can't. My mother bought a T10 also, same problem, but less so. At least ours don't just switch themselves off, though, and the signal is fine.- Read Zizkov's review (91 words)

My Ericsson T10 phone was fine for the first 7 months. I was impressed with it's robustness having dropped it on several occasions without apparent harm. Faults have been regularly occurring over the last 5 months: battery cutting out ("insert SIM card" appearing), the Display disappearing or freezing, the characters on screen displaying various weird forms (eg back-to-front, jumbling up and zooming around the screen, overlaying with previous contents, black backgrounds). Ultimately very disappo ...- Read Woody's review (83 words)

I would be happy with my Ericsson T10 phone despite the aforementioned faults if it was not for the fact that IT KEEPS SWITCHING ITSELF OFF FOR NO REASON. Not much good if you want to stay in touch....... give it a miss.- Read Wavehead's review (63 words)

Oh Mother. This device has to have been sent to hell to haunt me! Firstly the Reicsson T10s serious software failings. 1) Most worryingly of all it decided to erase the entire contents of my contact list last week ( NOT GOOD! ) 2) For some reason if your password begins with a digit 1 it comes up on the screen unshielded by a * symbol 3) Whilst typing a text the uppercase button changes the previous letter not the next 4) Text messages can be lost if you are contacted whilst typing one 5) The p ...- Read Daire's review (371 words)

Bought as an all-in-one package which seemed a good deal until I used this handset. This is the phone from hell. It never works, the sim card has to be re-inserted every time I turn it on, reception, battery life and the screen are hopeless. Avoid at all costs.- Read ced's review (66 words and 2 comments)

Unless on a good network or in a town or city centre, I found the Ericsson T10 to rarely have good reception. It's buttons are small and difficult for texting. On numerous occasions this phone has cut out on me, it saved some SMS-deleted others, it sometimes doesn't even receive text messages. Sometimes it turns itself off without warning, and the alarm clock has been known to set itself 20minutes later than the night before...causing me to be late for work!!
The Ericsson T10 does however have ...- Read Pete's review (152 words)

I have an Ericsson T10s and it is constantly cutting out mid-call etc. I have opened it (well I am a nosey engineer) and found a good finish on the PCB (Gold plating - really) but this didn't stop tarnishing on the battery connections thus causing a bad contact. I soldered over these contacts and cleaned off the pads and it seems to have improved things a little. The correct solution is to get conductive rubber contacts or something. Also the LCD contacts seem to become open circuit causing erro ...- Read Paddy OReilly's review (117 words)

When i purchased this mobile phone i thought it was a good deal until I started to realise its bad points and the warranty had run out. I have had my mobile for two years and i have brought six new batteries because they stopped working, for the money i payed for the phone i expect it should not have this many bad points, i don't recommend this mobile phone!- Read lilly's review (101 words)

Dropped this phone in about week 2 of owning it and the screen cracked. Not covered by warranty because it was user-inflicted. est. cost of repair, AUS$150, cost to get the phone back with nothing done to it, AUS$30. Recomendation, avoid this phone at all costs. Not worth the hassles.- Read marblegravy's review (71 words)
