“WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY”

Written on: 08/07/2014 by 336Coughlin (1 review written)

Signed up for an iphone 5s refurb on a £28 pm contract. Everything said successful online, until I got a text asking to ring up where I would be charged 10p per minute. After ringing up twice and 'resolving' issues. I still waited 4 days for my phone to arrive- no confirmation of delivery other than the sleazy sales people's promises that it would arrive the next day. Eventually after a week of spending yet again more hours on the expense phone line, I was eventually told that the iphone I… Read Full Review

“highly recommend”

Written on: 30/06/2014 by swanlee (1 review written)

i have been using this company for last 4 years having had cashback claims for 4 phones (myself and kids). I have never experienced delays and using their site to download your bill direct to them for the cashback has been a great success. But this is my experience and I know people are more inclined to post negative remarks when things go bad than they are to post positive remarks when things go good. I am about to order a new phone as an upgrade, with no concerns… Read Full Review

Weetj's Response to swanlee's Review

Written on: 24/07/2014

I am happy to have seen this review!
I've just placed an order with E2Save yesterday, and i am still waiting to hear. After seeing many many negative reviews on facebook and various websites, i was getting really concerned.
I was thinking that people are more inclined to rave on about the negative and the happy people don't tend to post good reviews as they are content and don't feel the need to scream about it!
Thank you for the good review. I will post mine when (if) mine works out also.

I agree, we don't see many positive reviews. Just to confirm I applied for my cashback claim online 3weeks ago and received the cheque last week.

“Flawed system”

Written on: 20/06/2014 by Mandrew7c3 (1 review written)

I just got off the phone and I had to voice my experience. Over a month ago I received a cold call from someone who "represented" (Keyword) Carphone Warehouse to talk to me about an upgrade that was due soon from my joint iPhone/iPad data plan. Besides his over persistent and arrogant nature, he offered me a rolling contract as I wasn't ready to upgrade at the time. When I received my new sim it wasn't activated. A bit suspicious, but no problem. Went to CW and got that sorted. Over a… Read Full Review

“Don't deal with this company”

Written on: 07/05/2014 by alankj (3 reviews written)

They rang my wife up to renew her contract with O2, she refused this because they only offered 100 minutes and she required 300 minutes. They then upgraded her contract and sent a phone without her permission. She went to Carphone Warehouse to complain and they said the contract had been cancelled. Why then sent a phone that she did not want as my wife had an Apple iphone and not a rubbish phone they sent. Also the contract showed 100 minutes and not as she previously agreed with O2. It's been… Read Full Review

“SHOCKING SALES TACTICS”

Written on: 09/04/2014 by Brennanm165 (1 review written)

Received a call one Saturday saying that they were from Orange and wanted to discuss my upgrade options. I listened and said that I was interested in a deal. They said they would email me details and send out the iPhone. Shortly after this call I received a call from Orange (who were and still are my provider). They said that they hadn't called me and asked whether I gave out my Orange password to which I said I hadn't been asked for it! I then tried calling back the number that appeared… Read Full Review

Sold me gadget support help I never asked for. The company TMTI took 24£ from my account and I wasn't even aware until I checked my account 3 months later. They had charged me 3 months in advance. I rang them to cancel it but they would neither refund the whole amount nor the remaining 3 months they have charged for. Cheats!!!!… Read Full Review

“I agreed for sim only contract with them, as my...”

Written on: 09/12/2013

I agreed for sim only contract with them, as my current contract is due to end next month, they told me I'll be able to save as they take over my current mobile contract and change it to a new one a month earlier. Then I read the reviews about e2save and decided I want to have nothing to do with them, I rang to cancel - not to mention the call + waiting time = cost quite a lot. They said I don't need to do anything and that it's cancelled. Then I ve lost a signal for 2 days! Nothing at all… Read Full Review

I was called near the end of my current contract by this company on Wednesday and told by their salesman that because he was contacting me direct that he could wave the £59 handset fee for a iphone 5c( BULL no1 as anyone can get this handset for free ). He then gave me a worse deal than i could get from the carphone warehouse website ( this mob are also carphone warehouse ). BULL no2 was that I could return the phone within 7 days if not satisfied. “Cancelled after reading other reviews”

Written on: 29/10/2013 by rocco123 (1 review written)

I received a call Isisbyte, part of e2save who are affiliates of the Carphone Warehouse. At the time, I was led to believe that I was being contacted on behalf of 02 but I soon realised this was not the case. The saleswoman, who was nice enough, said that I am due an upgrade and that they deliver handsets on behalf of the Carphone Warehouse. She offered me a better deal than anywhere else I had seen on the new iPhone 5s and as she had my details to hand, I only had slight reservations about… Read Full Review

“Sent me a faulty refurbished phone without accessories”

Written on: 21/10/2013

Ordered a Galaxy S4 refurbished phone only to be sent a faulty one i.e. faulty wifi connection. Does not do door to door swap and it will cost you to return faulty handsets even it was found to be faulty within 28 days of purchase. I was with O2 and they would have free postage and if it faulty within 28 days there would be a door to door swap. Would only recommend it to someone I really hate!!… Read Full Review

I recently took out a new mobile contract with e2save. the contract is with o2 and the phone is an apple iphone4s. when i received my phone and switched it on, a message on phone said not able to complete actvation process and needs to be replaced. i contacted e2save who arranged collection of the handset and agreed a replacement on receipt of the phone back in warehouse. a few days past and i decided to contact e2save again on the status of the replacement. after having to contact them twice… Read Full Review

“Avoid at all cost, claimed to be O2 then Carphonewarehouse”

Written on: 29/08/2013 by ditch999 (2 reviews written)

My daughter got a call from 'O2' at the weekend offering her a great deal on an upgrade. As shes not the account holder she told them to ring me. They did and when I quizzed them he admitted that he was not with O2 but actually Carphone Warehouse. I stupidly agreed to the upgrade and my daughter got an email from a crowd called Elite Contact Ltd confirming her upgrade order. This email mentioned other firms called Media.secure-mobiles.com and Secure-mobiles.com and Elitecontacto2.e2save.com . I… Read Full Review

Ditch999's reply to Nickc88's Comment

Written on: 09/09/2013

Yes. The phone was received back by e2save and 2 days later it showed up as 'Returned' when I logged in to my account. I then went to 'My O2' on the O2 website and saw that I was eligible for an upgrade so I knew the new e2save contract had been cancelled, however I was not put back to my previous contract and have been left on the same tarriff as e2save put me on. I also have to wait 30 days before I can change tarriffs (again)! During all this I sent emails to e2save but only ever got 1 reply! Distance Selling Regulations 2000 is your best bet.

“What a sham - do not get involved !!!!”

Written on: 07/08/2013

Was talked into receiving a phone from this company, on an unsolicited telephone call with a blocked number. When the phone arrived it was not the right one. I phoned the customer service department and was told I had to pay to return the item even though it was there fault. I was passed from pillar to post - given telephone numbers that are not answered after waiting for at least 10 minutes on a premium line. Being told they would phone me back - which never happened. MY ADVICE IS DO NOT… Read Full Review
