Good Points: Brass boiler, solid stainless steel frame
Bad Points: -Manuel commands, (you need to know how it works) -The steamer head is hard to clean, -Yo have the best results, it takes a good 15 to 20 minutes to heat up.
General comments: Excellent quality, professional results from this home Coffee & Espresso Machine, grinder Rocky excellent too.

The Rancilio Silvia is perhaps the closest thing you can get to a commercial machine without the hassels of plumbing and long warm up times. Rancilio have used brass in all the right spots and you only have to look at the Silvia's weight (14kg)compared to other domestic machines to see where your $$ are going. Having worked in hospitality making coffees for several years I wouldn't recommend anything else - support the manufacturers that are 'keeping it real'!

The Rancilio Silvia is a robust, domestic espresso machine which is manufactured by one of Italy's leading commercial machine makers. It has excellent build quality (brushed stainless steel bodywork), a 2.5 litre water tank and has been praised as one of the best domestic machines on the market.
