Good Points: He has a unique vocal sound. He is passionate about the song subject matter. The social comment songs remain valid even where situations have changed. Regardless of any social comment, the music is excellent. To me, this is an important album.
Bad Points: The only bad point is that more people don't know about it.
General comments: This is an album that gets played regularly - maybe not that often, but it's never forgotten. The arrangements and production seem to be exactly right for Tony's unique writing and vocal sound. There are new songs here as well as a couple of re-works from previous LPs - which are great to hear.
Sometimes it can be dissapointing to hear an old song done again - not the case here. I shall be listening to Tony Bird for years to come.
