My Samsung would not play a standard audio CD that had one continuous music passage ie Pink Floyds wall. It would stop for approx 1 sec when track times changed,inserting a break. Very annoying.

I just bought the S224 but it doesn't say it plays JPEGS/Picture CD's and won't play one I've loaded. Is there a "trick" to get it to play them?

Had problems since the day we bought it. Being new to DVD's we thought this was normal - sometimes it will play DVD, other times it does not recognise the disc at all.
