The hotel is a scam. I invested lots of money in the game and was banned for standing up for child safety. The hotel operates illegal underage gaming rings. They also operated underage sex rooms from 2004- June 12th 2012 until they were publicly exposed for their illegal activity. (read more)

Habbo Hotel (UK): From 2003 - 2008 Habbo Hotel was th best thing around, 10,000 people online from after school - 7.00, it was brilliant.
Until they felt like a change:
The change to me wasn't just a change it was taking away everything everyone (that new old habbo times) used to love, i don't know why i said "it was" i mean "it does".

Habbo hotel is a great place to meet friends, make your own little world and live in a bubble.
Habbo hotel can be dodgy, my 10 year old sister uses Habbo and I do not like her on it because of some conversations which can be rude. But Habbo hotel can be strict, at times. Its a nice place to find someone to talk to.. Well recommended youth site.

Firstly, I use this website, and I personally really enjoy it, I do buy habbo furniture every once in a while, and its not to "express my feelings" its simply because when your playing Habbo you can make a little life! My daughters account was hacked it seems and she lost her furniture and credits, she was very upset.
I sent an email to Habbo, they replied saying they were not responsible for user errors and that Habbo can not be hacked!
Their terms and conditions were also quoted stating they were not responsible and the problem was with my daughter or computer security.
I feel they were difficult to get help of and do not recommend Habbo Hotel due to this.
I found the attitude and service very unhelpful...

I get to have friends and you can collect furni for free by trading what you have been given..
When I have been on it very rarely do I get verbal abuse. People do ask if you have msn or a cam.

Habbo Hotel has always been one of the largest Social networking sites, in my opinion this teen site has now become perfect, there is nothing to fault for me. HabboHotel.com offers everything that every other competitor offers and more in my opinion, I think some users may get annoyed at the price of some items, but for me this is not a problem. Sometimes the game freezes but not a lot. To have a good look, you have to be an HC which costs.

You don't GET Habbo, you go to www.habbo.com/client.action and make Habbo. From there, you can go to tons of public spaces and even MORE guests' rooms. You change your clothes by going to the hotel view, and click "update my habbo ID", and a new window will open... You can choose from different shirts, pants, skirts and more.

I like the way the real Habbo Hotel staff speak to you and really serve you for free in the Habbo Hotel public rooms. I think you should be able to do competitions to get coins if you win, like on other websites. EG in the Habbo pool you could have swimming races for free and then if you come first, you get 3 coins, if second 2, then if third 1.

Habbo is a good place to meet new people and have fun talking to friends in a friendly and safe enviroment. Its great fun to be able to create your own rooms and get different furni and hairstyles.
Habbo can get a bit addictive, and when people want to by Habbo Club (and exclusie club that costs 25 credits to buy) you have to ring up or sms 3 times because you get 12 creds for every call so if you only call twice its 1 cred not enough.

Habbo believe they should be concerned how much credit is being run up on a daily basis and don't feel they are obligated to inform parents until my son in particular ran up £50 in 2 days on the landline. I think habbo hotel is a great place for people to meet up with real-life friends or new friends. As long as you don't give any personal details out habbo is a safe place to be. I've been on habbo for nearly a year and I still find it fun, except sometimes people can be really rude or avoid the 'bobba' filter, and sometimes you can get banned off the site for saying something like 'Red rug'.
Overall I think habbo is a good site yet it can lead to expensive phone bills if you buy credits with...

I recently left Habbo Hotel for good, since I no longer went there.
I had purchased near 40 dollars in credits, and used them, but it's been so long and I don't like the place.
The Moderators never do their job good enough, it costs way too much money to buy fake furniture.
And they refuse to give a refund, if you're not happy with the place.
So, in my opinion, a major waste of time and money is what Habbo Hotel is.
