Just arrived back from the Santa fe we stayed for 4 nights! I have never written a review on anywhere I have been before but felt I needed to! If you want the Disney experience do not pick this hotel. I know it's the cheapest, you definately get what you pay for! The rooms were shabby, beds like sleeping on a dining room table, ceiling in bathroom was mouldy and no tea/coffee facilities or hair dryer! You had to choose what time to have breakfast and then queue for half hour to have a croissant or a bowl of cereal on a plastic plate! (paper one day as no plastic left). The bus to the park was an awful experience where people were pushing to get on before people had even got off we even saw a fight between two women on the bus in front of the children. Luckily we were out early and not back till late so didnt spend much time at the santa fe as we stopped in another hotel on the way back from the park for a drink in a cosy hotel. but if you want a Disney experience pay the little bit extra for another hotel! I definately will!

We have just arrived back from a 2 night stay at the santa fe. We found the rooms very clean and tidy and the staff were very helpful. We were able to chose a time for breakfast and found no queues, we did eat one evening meal in the hotel and had the all you can eat buffet, this was lovely and also cheaper and nicer than the food in the parks or disney village. i would recommend this hotel to friends and family and will use again.

Hotel Staff were friendly and helpful

Room was very clean, tidy and cleaned daily. Being a single parent only being able to afford this hotel to take my son on holiday for his fourth birthday. I found it does exactly what is says on the tin and recommend highly.

“Stayed in the hotel for 4 nights in April 2010....”

★★☆☆☆

written by on 18/04/2010

Stayed in the hotel for 4 nights in April 2010. Thought the outside of the hotel was very shabby and in need of a serious face lift and TLC. Walk ways around the hotel were dirty and a dirty nappy was found by one of my children in a fountain.

Went to the play park in the hotel complex with my 2 year old and i have to say the park was again dirty had grafitti on the walls.

On the postitive side our room was clean and was serviced every day. Unfortunatly no tea/coffee facilities or hairdryer, which you kind of expect in any hotel these days.

Breakfast basic and busy, we had one meal in the restaurant in the evening and decided not to eat there again. Food tasteless and basic again for what we paid.

If went back to Euro Disney probably wouldn't choose this hotel.

“We've just got back from a 5 day break from the Disney...”

★★★☆☆

written by steveywally on 15/03/2010

We've just got back from a 5 day break from the Disney hotel and have mixed feelings about it really. Whilst the room was ok, it was hardly worth what we paid for us and our 2 littlens. I've stayed in Premier Inns which were equally as nice for a lot less money per night!

However, on the plus side, the staff there were very friendly and great with the kids. Food in the hotel was also ok, decent range of menu items for us and the kids.

Facilities on site were ok, again, not brilliant, just ok. I think if we'd paid much more, this review may have been a 2 star review, but overall, I guess we'd say it was an average place to stay, probably would recommend other hotels over this one first though.

“We are a family of four with kids aged 7 and 5. ”

written by on 18/02/2010

We are a family of four with kids aged 7 and 5.
We stayed at Santa Fe for 3 nights. Even the broken lights in the room couldn't hide the grime. Some staff were rude...even to the point of laughing at us on a couple of occassions. There is an outdoors walk from the rooms to the hotel facilities (restaurant, bar etc)which is annoying in bad weather. The queue for breakfast was massive. Breakfast itself is all cold...ham, bread, cheese. Reasonable quality but very basic. No decaf coffee by the way.
I guess the walk from the hotel to the park gates is over a kilometer. After that and a long queue for breakfast you don't really feel set up for a day hiking round the parks.
On departure the receptionist asked his routine question.."Did you have a good trip"
"No, not really" my wife replied.
"Perfect" said the receptionist with a cheesy smile.
That about sums it up...they don't listen and just follow the script.

I'm really surprised by the treatment you received by the staff there, they were probably the best thing about our stay there. Really friendly and helpful and great with our kids.

I have just been on a trip with my family to the Santa fe. What a dissapointment beware anyone who has been to America don't go here you will be very disappointed. There are certain standards that you expect from Disney and yes the hotel is cheap but rooms were really shabby not clean, smelt disgusting and staff were very rude. The parks also a dissapointment as Disney studios had many closures on our last day and the rides kept breaking down they don't cater well for disabled people and on my last day informed me that I could of had a pass to allow me on the rides to avoid queuing as I am on crutches. The rooms had no kettle or hairdryer unless you paid a hefty deposit. Food extremely expensive overall. Tip safe your pennies and go to Florida.

We stayed here for three nights and have just arrived home. I thought the hotel was lovely! The parks were only a short walk away which was great. I think its best to describe this hotel as basic but i found it perfect for the amount of time we spent in it. Breakfast was continental and you could make up rolls etc if you wanted. Room was clean and comfortable and i would stay here again without hesitation!

I agree that the rooms were basic and I suppose for the amount of time you spend in them, it's all you really need. I think though by the time we got back each evening, we were so tired from walking around the parks, we weren't even bothered what the rooms were like!

“HOTEL SANTA FE DISNEYLAND PARIS, JULY 2009: Toilet...”

written by salalami on 01/08/2009

HOTEL SANTA FE DISNEYLAND PARIS, JULY 2009: Toilet smelt of urine, towels smelt of old sweat, stained bedding used, electrical sockets hanging off of wall, broken cupboards and drawers, cigarette burns in bathroom and on carpet in "non-smoking" room! Moved room once but no better. Really old TV and only one Disney channel is in English, so not ideal for under 5's wanting cartoons as opposed to constant Hanna Montana type stuff!
Breakfast food extremely cheap and awful. Flies on bread baskets, inedible jam, only tinned fruit, and one day the breakfast room stank of excrement.
No lifts so had to haul cases, and pushchair daily. A very shabby has been hotel..well worth a miss. NOT value for money. The prices are cheap for a reason!

written by on 29/03/2009

This Santa Fe Hotel, Disneyland resort Paris experience was one of the worst trips, my family and I ever took!!!! The hotel is below average, the staff were rude to the children. It would be a better place if staff actually did their jobs and took an interest in the children. Our room was filthy, there were feathers under one bed and under the other a previous guest had left a box from a toy. When we brought this matter further they sent a maid but when we returned it didn't look like anything was done. Not only were we disappointed in this hotel, a lot of others were disgusted by everything as we were too....I would not recommend this hotel....if anything just go for a day visit!!!!!!!

stayed at the Disney santa fe for 3 nights in feb 09. I felt the hotel was in need of a face lift. room clean but i thought there were signs of mould showing in corners. for breakfast we tended to go early or as late as possible to avoid the crowd. We weren't shy to make some sarnies for a snack later - we took some sandwich bags to keep them fresh.
I didn't think the staff were very helpful when I spoke to them.
if u just need somewhere to crash at night and have a limited budget the santa fe suitable

As the least expensive of Disneys hotels, I was very impressed, the room was tidy, the staff were very friendly and as I left it late each day for breakfast we went straight in got seats and ate as much as we wanted, with a very good selection.
My view of this hotel is even better because before arriving at Santa Fe we stayed in other hotels in and round Paris (what a difference).

We went June 29 08. Check in was a bit slow, but the staff are very friendly. Rooms have double beds with ceiling fans and heaters when cold. Nice walk to the parks, you can catch the buses, but then you would miss the the nice walk. At breakfast you can make your rolls for lunch, the staff look the other way, so you will not get told off, everyone does it! Save your money for all the toys, for the kids.....
lovely hotel, would go the the same hotel.. marks out of ten-8..

We stayed here for 2 nights and 3 days, the staff were very helpful, the hotel was lovely, should be a 3 or 4 star not 2 star. Checkin wasnt until 3pm but because our room was ready we were there by 11am. Hotel is not nearby enough to walk but shuttle buses run every 12 minutes and there's always space even if you have a buggy, we had 2. A lot of walking to do in the park, make sure you wear comfy shoes...we went in June and it was 30 degrees, very hot and tired after a long day. We were at the park everyday by 8am to get in for special hours before the mad rush at 10am. Plenty of walking to do, lots and lots to see.....nice to go back to the hotel after a long day for a nice shower.....all in all, perfect hotel and if I go back I would stay here again for sure.

written by on 21/05/2008

We arrived on 2nd May 2008. We could have had rooms in seperate buildings straight away, but decide to wait to be together. The baggage holding area was very efficient with very friendly staff.
Our rooms were spotless with wonderful showers.
We all slept very well. We never heard any noise at all.
The breakfasts were great( though we were a little shocked to see others making butties for later). There certainly was a huge amount and variety.
On the sunday night we were going to see Buffalo Bill but unfortunatley hadn't picked up our tickets on arrival. The two people on the information desk, couldn't have been more helpful, and soon rectified the problem. The show was wonderful.
The walk into the resort was fab we couldn't believe the size of the fish in the lake.
We had read some reports before we went most were worth reading, some, the writers must have been at another hotel.
On the whole the hotel was perfect for us and we would certainly recommend it and hope to go back really soon.

written by casuals on 03/07/2007

We have been back to this Walt Disney hotel 3 times now. Santa Fe is very good for the money, no need for luxuries here as you are in the parks all day! Not far to walk & there is a free bus service right outside the hotel if your tired. Our children are of different ages and they all thoroughly enjoyed their stay. There is an arcade in the hotel which amuses the younger ones & entertainment at nights for a relaxing drink after a hard day of excitement. Would highly recommend to anyone, no matter what their financial circumstances may be!

★★★★☆

written by chelle338 on 04/09/2006

We stayed at there at Christmas time in 2005. The hotel is VERY basic, but we only paid £500 for four of us for bed, breakfast and tickets. You get what you pay for. The breakfast was fine, and we had no trouble getting breakfast except on the Saturday, which was our last day. The queues were HUGE and there was nowhere to sit with 2 young children. I would advise people to opt for the earliest time possible for breakfast when given the chance on check-in. Dinner was very good value for money, and we had had absolutely no problems with seating and being served very quickly. Staff were very helpful.

The Room was clean and we always had clean towels. On the first day we were delivered a small hamper of biscuits, tea cups, tea and coffee, but you only get it on the first day, and there is nowhere except the VERY pricey petrol station to get anything such as these items. We were charged E40.00 for a small packet of nappies, so if you are travelling with young children make sure you have enough with you for the entire stay! Oh, the children were also left small cuddly toys by the cleaners.

Overall, it was OK. We aren't going back there this year. We have opted for the Disney NEW YORK hotel instead. Great if you are on a tight budget, or if you aren't tied to the hotel in the evening with young children.

The Disney Hotel is by far the best. It is right on the doorstep of the park, so avoiding queues, shuttles and the sort. It may be a little more expensive, but what you save in time and stress is well worth it. But still no tea/coffee making, which we also thought was bad. You can easily return to the Hotel during the day for a rest or to sort out children if they need a change of clothes etc. It really is a nice Hotel, and breakfast is very nice. You get treated a lot better for your money by the sounds of it! (must be a nightmare with 2 small children, and people over there just don't know how to queue and wait, do they?)

“We stayed at Disneyland Paris in the Hotel Santa Fe...”

★★★★☆

written by JaniePortugal on 12/08/2006

We stayed at Disneyland Paris in the Hotel Santa Fe for my daughters birthday a few years ago. The actual room was spotlessly clean, with good facilities, including a TV and very comfortable beds. Breakfast is continental, so cereal, rolls, ham and cheese are the only choice every day. I am a vegetarian and I found it very tedious.

We had to walk up flights of stairs carrying heavy suitcases. We had no assistance, and it was hard work with a small child. I want to go back, but as I now have two small children and I'm on my own, I would not go back to this hotel for this reason alone. Most hotel workers speak French and not very good English. I understand it is in France, but seeing as it is a world renown Disney resort, ALL staff should speak English; at least enough to understand the clients requests and problems.

There is not enough to do at the hotel. There is a reception, small shop and a bar. Not much else. Pretty boring of an evening. I don't think it is good value for money, as it is very expensive for a hotel with no atmosphere, and staff who don't understand you. It doesn't have the 'Disney' feel at all. The meet and greet the stars (Mickey mouse etc) is at a couple of set times a day for a quick photo and autograph, that is it. In America they walk around the hotels all the time, so why can't they do that here? I paid £800 for 4 days. I should have felt it was a great holiday, instead I felt ripped off. Disneyland itself is great, but certainly not this hotel for the price. We now go to Comfort Inn, which is 20 minutes drive away, but it is beautiful and a lot cheaper.

written by dandelsha on 14/07/2006

I had a wonderful holiday at The Hotel Santa Fe at the Disney Resort Paris. It was money well spent to see the look on our children's faces.

The Santa Fe is a good base, as the only time you are in there is when you're sleeping, as we were in the park until it closed.

People have stated that the food was expensive, but I thought it was fine and of good quality, as you have got to remember any other theme park you go to.
