worst ever. The rubber brakes very easy. And generally very poor construction. Absolutely not worth one cent..

i paid $80NZD for this barnett cobra slingshot and have had it now for almost a year without any major problems, among the minor problems is that the aiming thing dosent really do anything other than make it look cooler i fount that the suede leather pouch wends to wear after a while.i also like this slingshot because it can shoot a wide variety of ammo,i have shot evrything from 9mm steel ball bearings to fishing sinkers out of it without any problems.rocks seem to be the worst thing to fire out of it as they go in all directions.the pouch is big enough to fire more than 1 9mm ball bearing so a shotgun type effect can be used quite well on flocks of dive-bombing birds with the spread of the 3 pellets being less than 1m at almost 50m,great slingshot if your willing to pay alot.

Gorgeous slingshot with the ultimate wrist brace, which should be on every Barnett model. The wrist brace and the perfectly formed handle combine to make it feel as if the Cobra is an extension of your arm. The pointer is cool but is not helpful in aiming, since anyone who shoots a slingshot seriously uses the upper yoke to aim. It looks cool, though, and most certainly contributes a little to stability.

The Barnett Cobra Slingshot has a nIce design, excellent bands and high power. Overall if your looking for a accurate easy to use powerfull slingshot don't dish out £15+ I looked foward to getting this for ages but was dissapointed. It's too big and too picey. It is very powerfull and durable but at long distances it is innacurate. The sights are werid and not easy to cope with for a beginner. People are lured to this product for its cool name, me included, but i personlly was disapointed. Begginers don't buy this get a barrnet black widow its powerful and very accurate at a great price. Advanced shooters should look at the barnett diablo or the diablo pro for the extra £10 because it makes up on the Cobras defects.

A good slingshot. For hunting and fun shooting. The Barnett Cobra Slingshot is accurate with the sight system and its extemeley hig speed firing. Only bad points about the cobra slingshot are that the rubber band can break or it leaves the holder but would still recommend it.

I am very pleased with this purchase and have been shooting bootles for ages. The Barnett Cobra Slingshot has a really good range on, I can shot things miles away. The problem is really the accuracy. Especially over longer distances the shots can go a bit more wayward.

I think that the colours are a bit too flashy and It feels a bit weird to use. Other than that the Barnett Cobra Slingshot is great to use, once you get used to it. Ive got a great aim with it.

I rate this the most comfortable of the non folding slingshots to shoot. The wrist brace-which is bottom mounted-is the best available-far far better than the wrist braces that attach to the top of the handle such as the Saunders and the Pro Diablo. The grip-be it the original version or the newer "soft grip" is very comfortable and is conducive to long shooting sessions.
The stabilizer is basically worthless and should be easy to remove but it is not. Barnett ought to use this platform for its pro diablo 2-the wrist brace is SO MUCH better than the one on either versions of the Pro Diablo. The leather pouch is awful on this-I give this sling a top rating IF you replace its pouch with say the saunders or the trumark.
If I were going to build a serious target slingshot I would use this as a starting point-probably bolt some sort of V-bar holder on the bottom of the handle. This is probably the most comfortable slingshot to shoot for long periods of time. I highly recommend it if you replace the pouch.

The look and contoured profile feels smooth as well as the rigid plastic body, which in my opinion is one of the best manufactured slingshots on the market today considering its only £17.99

The Barnett Cobra slingshot is powerful. I wouldn't recommend it but I have been able to kill sparrows at 10 yards easily. This is not necessarily appropriate for beginners and is a wonderful adult slingshot for having fun shooting tin cans or apples out of a tree. The handle and band is sturdy and does not feel like it will snap under pressure. This slingshot is highly reccommended but be careful of where you are aiming at all times. It is a slingshot but it will do damage so be aware of your surroudings. Great reliable slingshot

The Barnett Cobra one heck of a good slingshot, the best around.Unique design, soft touch grip and an extraordinary shot. and as for the price it's really cheap at just £17.99.

Overall the Barnett Cobra Slingshot is a good slingshot but I get anoyed when I can't get it in my pocket and have to lug around in a bag.

The Barnett Cobra was a nice slingshot to look at. It came with a front stablizer which for an amateur like myself didn't do much. I'm not reviewing this for the pro, I'm gearing my review towards a first time buyer. If I had to do it over, I wouldn't buy this again. I liked the Marksman Laserhawks better. They were easier to shoot and accurate.

Great review. Very helpful.

Is the front stabilizer not removable? If not why the hell did you by a cobra when the Pro Diablo has a better sight and removable stabilizers. Its only £5 difference!

KK . sorry people . my stupid mistake. I repeatedly left it outside through the winter season after christmas and it was frosted and de-frosted again and again. Then i lost the aimer on the front and I took it apart to clean it all up. never did clean it and it wouldnt go back together again . Damn. So for the great price I went straight out and bought the one I still have.

Jimmy is right. You can't do any better. I got one for Christmas a few years ago. For approximately £15 it's the best value. I mistreated it and left it out one night, and it went rusty and the rubbers perished. At that price it's not a problem, and I went straight out and bought a new one. Rock on Jimmy.

I have been shooting slingshots for over 30 years. There is nothing that I cannot hit at any distance. The cobra is not a folder and its the most comfortable and by far (if you know how to aim) the most accurate arround. If you are sighting with the target between the prongs you may need to relearn how to aim. You basically shoot a slingshot like a bow, the sling is held horizontal and you center the target above the top prong, make sure your rubbers are straight and then follow through. It will hit every time if you follow this rule and the cobra makes it super easy to shoot comfortably.

I don't know if you are aware of this but it is actually illegal to shoot sparrows as they are not a pest and you can't eat them.
