Good Points: Fast Powerful Easy to replace bands Accurate
Bad Points: Not sure about the plastic holding the bands on
General comments: I have had the Copperhead Power Storm Model PM500 slingshot for about a month now, and I really enjoy it. For me it is a very accurate rig. I can hit the bottom of a soda can at 10 yards with 3/8" shots all day long. It is powerful. It can penetrate (one side) of a coffee can at 10 yards (with the same 3/8" shot). This is definitely a hunting sling shot. I like the idea of how you can replace the bands, but not sure of the plastic used to hold the bands on the prongs.

The band broke on the Copperhead Power Storm Model PM500 a couple days after I got it with only moderate use. I replaced it and the next one lasted for a few months. After a while the wrist brace (made of rubber) came loose and would fall off often. This was easily fixed with some tape wrapped around the frame of the slingshot that the brace slips onto for a friction fit. The shot feeder rattles with every shot and always slides forward. This can be fixed by sliding two of the three clips h ...

I have a 3055 trumark slingshot but now i upgraded to a powerstorm and i can really feel the power behind it. sure the 3055 could kill a rabbit easily but the powerstorm can kill even bigger game. I would reccommend the powerstorm to any slingshot shooter out there. Or even the 3055. I have yet to find an even more powerful slingshot than the powerstorm but i doubt that i could!

My Copperhead Power Storm Model PM500 is so cool! I didn't know a slingshot would look like this. lol I tried one and it's much better than Trumark's Wrist-braced. It has stronger support on my wrist and hand and you can tell that it shoots out fast. "It's Powerstorm for Power Performance"

General design is good;
Tapered bands really snap some power, but failed too soon;
Fairly accurate with large shot, but fastener to leather sling is so bulky it is hard to accurately shoot small (1/4" or smaller) shot and touchy for 3/8" shot;
Will have to build custom wrist strap and may adjust the steel angle a bit.

The Power Storm is the the best slingshot I have yet tried. The arm brace and foam handle covering combo has made it the most comfortable and least stressful on the hands and arms. The tapered bands do seem to give you more accuracy and a greater distance to you shot but under quick and repetitive shots, needed for those of us practicing painball, I feel the bands strength is questionable. The replacement bands thankfully are the simplest to replace snapping on easily with the clips instead o ...

I can't find many bad points to the PowerStorm. It was fairly accurate but not the most accurate slingshot I tried. It is very comfortable to shoot. It came with a shot feeder that clips to wrist brace if you so desire to place it there. It's the nicest looking slingshot I tried if that matters to you. I would recommend it.
