i loved this board and it handled like a dream. The board is quite hard wearing and it took a battering for a while... but... after a year i broke it.

This is an ok Deck, but only because it was free. The best things in life are free but I wouldn't ever buy one. The pop isn't all that great, although I liked it I guess. The wood itself retained its pop well, and the wood is ok too. I would buy one if it was made un the America's, but I don't want every company making their stuff in China soon, so I'll support THEM by buying their American made products. Darkstar's been a nice experience though, but if they were cheap as world industries (which ...

Darkstar, Almost and Enjoi are all made in the same factory, they use the same wood and glue, Darkstar have an exclusive design called armor light which is guaranteed for 30 days, and almost have the new impact support boards coming out that feature carbon fibre discs in all the common breaking points.
This proves that Darkstar, Almost and Enjoi are all the same so go for one of them because you wont be disappointed.
Heavier skaters should go for resin 8, resin 9 or armor light because resin 7 ...

Ok, i have to say i think the grafics on Darks Stars are ok but this board is soooo bad. I got one as a spare deck for when my Flip deck snapped because it was pretty close to that, so i got Darkstar Armorlights recommended to me so i thought that they were worth a try and i managed to snap it after 4 times out on it. The snap came as no suprise because the board was so bendy and it snapped when i did a simple bean plant

I got this Chet Thomas drip logo "Monster Mold" board in new jersey for 35 dollars. It came with free black magic grip tape and some hardware. I mounted it on my board. The first ollie i did was only 3in high and i average 9-10in. also it felt soggy and the pop sounded damp and not clean. The monster mold concave leaves a flat beam in the centre, whitch is uncomfortable and a DEEP concave, which was way to uncomfortable.
NOT GOOD WHATSOEVER. Also the nose was to low so my foot allways slipped o ...

I have two Darkstar Armor light decks the Chet Thomas one and the Paul Machu deck and I love them. :D Kudos to Darkstar. Darkstars never break they are sick and their pop lasts forever compared to other boards and also I've never chipped or broken one. They have a weird feel to them but you get used to it real fast. And they have kinda flip but other than that they're awesome.

Darkstar Wood - I got a Guy Kaphmen Battle Deck from my shop for 35 bucks with grip. At first I hated it. It was too small, crappy shape, and didnt feel like real wood. I had to get used to it though because the stocks were going down. So, for about 1 1/2 months I skated the China P.O.S. until I broke it lipsliding, I'm kind of glad I broke it, becasue I really didnt like it at all. It flipped good, but thats about it.

I have owned a darkstar deck for about 3 months. The first thing you notice is it's great pop (it has better pop than my friend's 1 month old Flip and WorldIndustries decks). It also has good flip and the concave speads the weight nicely. Speaking of weight, this board has none. It is lighter than an Element superlight. It is very durable and handles grinds nicely. The only thing is it's tendency to get springy during boardslides, but it isn't much of a problem. Overall, this stuff if great.

I just got the Darkstar Wood board a week a go and i was so disappointed. The nose is not steep enough, it doesn't catch your foot when you ollie or do flips. I can't 360flip or hard flip with it because the shape feels weird. it does pop pretty well, but when you're doing a gap, you can't keep it under your feet because you can't extend your ollie without your foot going over the nose. It also sucks for nollies because too much of the nose touches the ground when you pop it, this can be a probl ...

At the beginning of my school year my friend had a Darkstar deck and he let me skate it, I remember that the shape was really nice, the weight was average and it had a reasonable amount of pop. It seemed like a really good beginner deck, so if any beginner s are reading this go and get yourself a Darkstar at your local skate shop and trust me you won't regret it.

My Darkstar just snapped and it's only been a month, when I 1st bought it and rode it I was like WOW! really good board, it stayed great for a long time but then it snapped, lots of people say its very strong because they are posers and don't know how to skateboard, overall its a decent board.

Darkstar is awesome, it has awesome concave and great pop. That is when I do flip tricks I can clear at least 4 decks...sometimes 6. However... I can't just plain ollie 4 decks on this board and I can on other boards...But maybe thats just me because I can do it while flipping and cant just ollie it. I can ollie an almost mullen shinguard deck over 6 decks with complete ease but I can flip that as well so I dont know.
