    Lord of the Rings: Complete Trilogy - This soundtrack, composed by Howard Shore is an absolute masterpiece. Just listening to the music on its own, without the movies as accompaniment, evokes images of a long journey, a struggle, great battles and overcoming obstacles. Shore tells a real hero's tale with his music alone.

    This is a fantastic set of compositions and will sit well in any collection. I look forward to purchasing more of Shore's soundtracks in the future.
