Good Points: Looks the partpower is goodamazing accuracynot too pellet fussy
Bad Points: Barrel seems to jump around a bit if bashed but htis is easily adjusted
General comments: I have had my S400K (carbine) for about a year now and i am so happy i chose it. I mainly wanted it for sorting out ''pests'' but it is also very good for target shooting. Having tried lots of different pellets through it i have found out that it doesn't really mind which pellets you use but it performs very well with Crosman powapells .22. ( I also use rws super points) As i said earlier i use my gun for pest control, mainly squirrels but sometimes pigeons, and it is very good. The accuracy is not let down at all by the power which means you are guaranteed to make that clean kill every time. I think this rifle is good for beginers and veterans alike and anyone who buys it will not be let down.

This review is a general review of the s400/s410 as it is the same rifle only
the s410 is a 10 shot multishot,it was easier to write a general review rather than write the same thing about version of this great rifle.

I generally use the rifle for hunting on the field behind my house, and its not un-common for me to take out pigeons at over 150 yrds or so. The rifle is fairly light-weight in comparison to its size so it doesn't make your arms ache after carrying it for 10 minutes. Due to using it for hunting purposes I've got on it a set of Nikon 10*50 Monarch Gold Matte Hunting scopes which i also highly recommend for hunting.

I've had this Air Arms S400 Classic .22 a fair while now and have shot lots with it and even won a few Mars bars in a competition down at the local shooting range. Despite it being a .22 it out shot a few .177's. the groupings that I get from 25yds rested with Air Arms field pellets are excellent. You could cover them with a ten pence piece. I've taken a magpie out to 50yds and with a sub 12 ft/lb rifle I think it's pretty decent! As long as you know how much hold over too give. My friends have ...

Here's an update on my ownership of an Air Arms S400 Classic which I bought new, a couple of months ago now. Scope is a Hawke Prostalk 4-14x50 which I leave on 14 mag... Would gladly discuss my reasons for this...
With over 4000 rounds through the rifle now, I've listed a few points to bear in mind if you think the S400 is for you.
Lets get one thing straight, this is a great rifle, and I doubt there is an equal, for the price, about at the moment. Logun Solo, possibly... My confidence in ...

I went to my local airgun dealer (In Essex, U.K.) last Tuesday to pick up my new Air Arms S400 Classic .22, with a growing feeling of concern. This was the third rifle sent from the Air Arms factory with my name on it, as the other two had arrived at the dealer's with damage, apparently caused during transit. The dealer had rejected the first two weapons before I got to see them, and 'had a word' with the manufacturer, but I was increasingly doubtful about all the good reports I'd heard relating ...

Well what can I say, this is a good all rounder.
With up to 12 foot pounds for standerd rifles and up to 30 foot pounds for f.a.c.{fire arms certificate} holders all in all an excellent all rounder.

I have owned the Air Arms S400 Classic .22 Air Rifle for approximately 3 weeks and in that short space of time have found it to be every bit as good as reviewers and testers alike make out, with the AA silencer fitted and 3-9 x 40 sights it feels well balanced. Accuracey is as good as it gets, 20mm groups at 30 yards... I am still learning!, and the stated number of shots per fill by the manufacturer seems about right, if a little conservative! I looked and handled half a dozen similar guns and ...

I, like many others no doubt, have trawled through various web sites and read countless 'write ups' on this Air Arms S400 Classic .22 rifle, made my mind up only to change it again, for a third time and generally banged my head against the wall...then changed my mind again!! I have bought blind to a degree but what swung it for me was I visited Mendip Shooting Club and luckily they hold stock of this rifle and I must say I was very impressed with how it shouldered and the general fit, finish and ...

I bought my air arms S400 a month ago, and I am very happy with this gun. Does anybody know how to adjust power on this gun? I tested it and it gives only 10 ft pounds. Please email me to: astorhoney@hotmail.com

I can hardly believe how accurate the Air Arms S400 rifle is! It's almost unbelievable I am putting several slugs through the same hole at 30 yards! And groups of an inch at 40 yards. My last rifle HW97K couldn't compete in the accuracy stakes.

I have been using air rifles for over 20 years now and the Air Arms S400 Classic .22 is the best I have found yet.
The look of this gun is superb, it is well made to a very high standard. I have a set of simmons 3-9 x 50 scopes fitted which makes targeting much easier and extremely accurate(provided the user is too!). Objects between 20m & 70m are well within its capability it is not the lightest gun I have but is still very comfotable to use. I wouldn't recommend this gun for a novice but for ...

Although Ive used other rifles every now and again, the Air Arms S400 Classic .22 is the first rifle I have owned and the first rifle Ive used with a scope. On the accuracy side of things I cant comment too much about, but after I set it up (was easier than I thought) I was able to hit a blade of grass at the end of my 30m garden with one shot! It was probably a lucky shot I know, but hitting within 1 1/2 inch diameter clusters at 30m is common (but remember! ive only had it a week so am still a ...

I've had my Air Arms S400 for around a year now and i have had no problems with it at all. It dispatches quarry with ease from 30m to 70m as long as you got your scope zeroed for the right range. Theres only one problem you will like this gun so much you will end up buying the 10 shot version because you will get addicted to shooting it but this is an excellent gun and you should buy it.

I got an Air Arms S400 Classic air rifle for christmas last year. The Air Arms S400 classic is the longer barrelled version of the S400 carbine. The 1st thing I noticed about this gun was the way it looked, it was beautifully made - the woodwork and metal work was simply superb.
I had never actually owned or shot a precharged air rifle before I got the S400 (I had a bsa meteor) and, to be honest, I was concerned about their consistency and shot capacity. But my concerns and doubts were vanquis ...
