Good Points: You can sell it on fleabay.

Bad Points: It made me want to treat my Naim hi fi to a sledgehammer tune up!

General comments: An old university pal of mine sends each other a cd we've each enjoyed every Christmas, in the past I ' ve enjoyed his taste. Peter yorn. Zwan. Aimee Mann, but this?
It is the worst record I ' ve listened to in years, power rock ballads, heartfelt, worthy lyrics! And a lead singer with the charisma of an Ikea chair.
To think I sent my friend versus, the kings of convenience remix album for this!

Nickelback's Silver Side Up really is a good album. I bought it really on the strength of How You Remind Me, but the other songs are similarly great, often with catchy lyrics. The style is similar throughout, but i don't mind this and i doubt other fans will either. They say it's quality not quantity, and although there are only 10 tracks, the quality makes them all great listening.

If you like what you have heard from nikleback then you might aswell buy this album because there are lots of gripping songs. It's great value for the money because it is one of them albums where you can listen to it over and over again.
Although SOME of the songs do sound a bit the same, but they are still good songs and it is not all of them. GOOD ALBUM!

Everyone knows "How you remind me" which is a gripping and moving song with excellent guitar part and vocals of Chad Kroeger. If you think of that song : its quality and precision, and think of that quality, with a bit more speed, and every other track in the album comes under that title! A classy, must have of an album. Even if you're not that big on rock, I think this album could just sway you completely! Excellent, quality pieces of well-written music!
