Good Points: The progression in Brians voice and the general sound. In particular 'My Sweet Prince' and 'Without You I'm Nothing' are highlights.

Bad Points: There is only one bad song- in the form of 'Burger Queen'

General comments: Placebo's second full-length album, Without You I'm Nothing is the album which shows the band at it's strongest, but seemingly the members at their weakest. Minor chords are often used, creating a melancholy tone which suits the lyrics perfectly,particularly in 'Every You Every Me' with the line "Carve your name into my arm, instead of stressed i lie here charmed'. Still keeping the youth and sarcasm from the self titled debut, but simply making it more of an album than a selection of songs. If 'Placebo' was the sex, 'WYIN' is definitely the morning after.

Placebo, Without You I'm Nothing - This is Placebo's 2nd album and it still sounds great. It includes the slow, yet powerful Pure Morning which then follows into the heavy, favourite of mine "Brick S***house". Then we have the smooth, steady guitar work of "You Don't Care About Us" which carefully slows down into the soothing lyrics of "Ask For Answers", another favourite. Then it prepares the best song on the album, a fan favourite which includes David Bowie, the powerful "Without You I'm Nothi ...
