The Bends is exactly what the name suggests - starting at the darkest depths of dispair and accending to true beauty; passing through everything in between, and leaving you dizzy at the top.

The Bends features true classics such as "High and Dry" and "Fake Plastic Trees", which even now stand their ground against every piece of music written since their birth into the world in 1995.

Radiohead, The Bends is a rock album but the there is a quality here that will never fade. Born in the throws of the human condition, this album like all the others by Radiohead become further testimony that modern rock has gone down the toilet. This is the album that flushed all the other bands down. Radiohead is the only band that has walked further into the dark woods when everyone else stayed in the cabin. The "weirdness" starts here.
