Good Points: This game was amazing. The graphics were great, the voice acting was excellent and the music really set the mood. The storyline was also very original and I got really involved.

Bad Points: I think the only thing that kinda bugged me on this game was sometimes Manny is kinda hard to control. He has a tendency to crash into things and turn around and sometimes I had trouble getting through doorways and into elevators.

General comments: Ok I'll start with the storyline. You're playing Manny Calavera, a travel agent in the Land of the Dead who has to sell travel packages to people to get to the 9th underworld. The storyline was excellent, totally original and very entertaining. The game was also funny, but not the corny kind of humor you'd find in Monkey Island. It was very entertaining.

The voice acting was amazing, (I love Lupe's voice in Rubacava!!) It was very realistic. Manny (and most of the other characters) had Mexican-style accents and sometimes they'd mutter little phrases in the language. ;) It just sounded cool.

The music was great, it fitted in perfectly and it didn't drive you crazy like some games do and the sound effects were good as well.

The graphics were absolutely stunning, they were Mexican style as well and very bright and colorful, very realistic. The controls were much the same as Monkey Island 4, like I said before though Manny was sometimes a bit hard to control but you get used to it.

Also the puzzles were very good, much like other games they got harder as the game progressed but I didn't have any major issues. The game is pretty long though, if you know exactly what you're doing it still takes about 5 hours to complete.

Overall though I would have to say that this is my favorite adventure game, very entertaining.

Well, Grim Fandango is a game released by Lucas Arts in their Golden Period (with Monkey Island and all the others, Indiana Jones). Grim Fandango is still one of the hardest games you can buy. The storyline is simplly amazing and the characters are incrediblly made. The entire game is based on a huge puzzle which contains smaller puzzles, which contain even smaller puzzels, which...
Well movement's OK, the music is more that OK and the graphics are well let's just say, Myst 3 in 1998. With grea ...
