Good Points: Small and lightweight. Great reception. Great battery life.

Bad Points: Loose keypad. Not enough faceplates to choose from.

General comments: I just received my phone yesterday and am very pleased. Was going to go with a Nokia 3360, but opted for this one because of the size. Fits easily in the smallest of purses or blouse pocket. The menu is easy enough to maneuver through and I hardly needed to refer to the instruction manual at all. Nice blue background display and letters are big enough to see without my glasses. Battery life is better than most and absolutely NO dropped calls or garbling even in tough areas where reception is bad. Super clear!
On the downside, the keypad is a little loose and Nokia dosen't offer enough faceplates for this model. But neither of these is reason enough not to buy this phone. Nokia 8265 is a winner...don't pass it up.

I just got this phone over the weekend. I made a full 2.5 hours call on one charge and the battery still had enough power to standby for a whole day afterward. The display is bright and easy to read.

Nokia 8265 has a very good reception compared to Nokia 8260. I recommend this phone for cingular subscribers.

I got this phone last week, it's been very good to me with easy to read menu, and rich features for a such small phone I'm very pleased. Reception is excellent!

I was told that this Nokia 8265 mobile phone did have a data cable, switched from SprintPCS to Cingular and the "kid" told me it was available, they just didn't have any in the store. After many nights of searching, there is NO cable and no IR to sync with my wife's 3360. I am bummed.
