Good Points: Kelly's album is not bad considering it's her first one. She does have a lot of potential. Her voice is good and I know as a Destiny's Child fan that she can do better. I liked the Love/Hate track and Can't Nobody songs. The rest are ok.
Bad Points: Kelly still sounds too soft, she sounds like a 15 year old instead of the DC member, her voice does not have enough depth to it. She needs to seriously do some big belter songs, expand her vocal abilities because in the Destiny's Child emotional songs she shows hints of being just as good as Beyonce if not better.
General comments: Kelly Rowland, Simply Deep - If I had heard all the songs beforehand, I would have still bought it because Kelly does have a singing talent. Yet this album doesn't expose it all that well. I'm very surprised she did not have more control or take control when doing the album. She does far too many collaborations. She needs to focus on her voice and sing louder and stronger. This way she'll gain more critical attention for her music, rather than just being known as a member of Destiny's Child.
