Maxwell Unplugged is that rare example of a vocalist sounding so much better live than in the studio. Maxwell is pitch perfect. The live band is tight and melodic and the background vocals in perfect harmony. I cannot rate this set highly enough. It will grab you from the first track and you will not want the ride to end. It will lift your mood and make you smile and I defy anyone not to sing along to Maxwell's excellent vocals. The ballads will make you catch your breathe and the up tempo numbers will make you dance. A perfect (although in my opinion too short) set. The 8 tracks will have you begging for more. Highly recommended. Buy, buy, buy!

Maxwell, Maxwell Unplugged - This performance set shows a true talent in rare form. From the perfect pitch on his cover of This Woman's Work to the beautiful soulful melodies on Unfortunate, Maxwell serves as the perfect example of the awesome sound that is R&B.
Unfortunately for me, I cannot find the DVD of this performance being sold by anyone...
