Good Points: Donna Summer's 1999 New York concert features the big hits, but it is her version of Dim All the Lights as a tribute to Rod Stewart that steals the show. Other highlights are the MORE new tracks, both of which climbed to #1 on the Billboard Dance Charts. I Will Go With You features some of Summer's best vocals ever.
Bad Points: The DVD has some classic Summer performances of new material and covers. Her version of Somebody to Watch Over Me is stunning, and I Don't Want to Work that Hard is a solid rocker. However, If There Is Music There is a master-class performance, causing the audience to break into spontaneous applause at least three times. The disk would have been greatly improved to have the full concert, or to have removed some of the hits and replaced with these amazing classic Summer performances.
General comments: Donna Summer sings her string of hits live. The release was a big hit in the US and around the world in 1999, selling well over a million copies world-wide.The DVD gets 10 stars, but this suffers from the removal of the best tracks from the concert.
