Good Points: Brilliant sound quality, great new arrangements of older tracks, and very funky for those old German geezers.
Bad Points: None, really the best ever made by Kraftwerk.
General comments: Kraftwerk, The Mix - This is the way they should have made those classics in the first place.
The audioquality of all tracks is beyond belief.
They used the state-of-the-art equipment of those days, like the Atari 1040ST and those great-sounding S1000 samplers from Akai.
The synth sounds were taken from the old tapes if they couldn't reproduce them with newer gear, which often happened, and put them in the S1000's.
A big credit to those machines and Kraftwerk that it is not an audible digital replay, but sounds like freshly programmed.
Every track is beyond its original quality which is a real achievement.
The mixdown is brilliant and very open and spacious where it should and compact and dynamic in other places of the arrangement.
I could rattle on about the sound quality endlessly because it is the best even by today's standards, really.
It certainly sounds better than the latest from Kraftwerk themselves "Tour de France" which is bad beyond belief using this TC Electronics rubbish.
