Good Points: Great to have this repackaged and with bonus tracks. I like to hear the old tracks in their smaller original sound - not beefed up like Gary plays them nowadays.
Bad Points: None
General comments: Replicas is a wonderful release coinciding with 30 years in business and 50 years of age.
I love Gary's new material as much as the old. All has equal character and value to me.

Gary Numan's,Replicas has to be one of the strangest albums of all time. Not only was it completely different to anything else that was out at the time,it also influenced alot of today artists and you only have to listen to it to see why. A fantastic mixture of synth and guitar songs with plan simple drums added together with Numans cold, dark futuristic lyrics and vocal make Replicas an absolute classic.

Genius is rarely recognised in its own time and Gary Numan's Replicas is one of the most important, most influential albums ever in the history of British music. Ahead of its time does not do it justice, not just in its sound but in how different it was when it was released. Not a just collection of great songs, great albums seem to pull together into something much bigger. Awesome.
