I find the Pentax SMC F 80-200mm, f/4.7-5.6 gives a very sharp image at wide open, good color specially for portrait, etc... Also Inner zoom, light weight, small size, cute design and all great.

One of the nicest "consumer's zoom".I purchased one last year and since then this remains one of my favorite lens. It's well built - no rattle when you shake it along the lens axis (unlike its counter-part SMC F 35-80mm, f/4-5.6). Another plus is its internal zooming system - it zooms in or out without changing its length. It is very sharp when stopped down to f/8, though being wide open does not appreciably affect the quality of the image. It's color balance and saturation are also satisfactory ...
