The sound from this unit is fantastic for the price. Anyone who cannot get a rumble and deep bass notes is setting it up wrong. I can feel the shake from the bass two floors down and this is on setting seven with volume on twenty four. Plenty of volume and responsive speakers. Self switching to player control over TV channel. For those days when you are doing something around the house, the radio built in is crystal clear. The radio is seldom mentioned in any review I have seen (read more)

If you want to enter the world of home cinema at a reasonable price, you won't be disappointed with this system. It's fairly easy to setup and everything you need comes in the box. Sound and picture quality is outstanding for the price. It has features that most systems at a higher price don't have. (read more)

Sorry but I cannot agree with the review in terms of the sound quality. Where is the Bass? Where is the 'rumble'? I achieved no better sound than I get from my Sony Trinitron TV built in speakers. I took it back.
