Good Points: - Forward soundstage (good for those who like 'Live'-like performances) - Details (picks up details very well for the money) - Dynamics - Adequately powered for most types of speakers and listening preferences - Well-featured (2 sets of speaker terminals, remote, pre-out socket, tone control, 6 line inputs, headphone jack) - Solid and good-looking metal-brushed construction
Bad Points: - Forward soundstage (not for those who like laid-back sounds) - Reduced soundstage (not quite deep and instruments do not separate very well; this is not for classicals and such) - No phono stage (applicable only to vinyl owners though)
General comments: Rotel RA-1060 are good for those who like 'Live'-like performances but not good for those who like laid-back sounds.

Well, this Rotel RA-1060 is one of the best integrated amplifiers for less than 600 pounds.
Why? It sounds just great!!!
Precisuos, classy and powerfull sound (60 w) is what I like, and Rotel have all of that. When I say that Rotel have some sort of "hardness",
it doesen't mean that Rotel is too bright amp, but if you like warmer sound than Rotel really got, you can try it with Van Den Hul or some other soft cabels.
It will work nice with Nad or Arcam CD players, and you can try it with B&W, ...
