I ordered O2-UK Talkalot over the Internet from O2's website for free. It was an offer, it usually costs £19.99. My network provider used to be Vodafone (which was more expensive). All i have to do is remember to top-up by at least £10 every month to get my free txts and wap mins.

THEY OFFER A UPGRADE ON PAY AS YOU GO PHONES SO ORDERED TWO ON SEPERATE NO. RECEIVED NO PHONES AFTER A MONTH AND FOUND THEY HAD LOST BOTH ORDERS. SO AFTER A BIG MOAN THEY GOT A MANAGER TO RING BACK TO REORDER BOTH PHONES, HE ORDERED ONE AND WAS MEANT TO RING THE NEXT DAY TO RE ORDER THE NEXT ONE. IM STILL WAITIN FOR THE CALL 3 WEEKS AGO. AND I HAVE STILL NOT RECEIVED ANY MOBILE PHONE. THEY ARE A CON AND I WOULD LOVE TO KNOW IF THEY HAVE DONT THIS TO ANYONE ELSE. THE TIME AND MONEY WAISTED ON THERE EXPENSIVE PHONE LINES BEING PUT THROUGH TO MANY DIFFERENT NUMBERS AND NO ONE KNOWS WHATS GOING ON. DONT WAIDST UR MONEY THEY ARE USELESS.

While the o2 talkalot service is cheap and useful, if you like talking & texting, there is one simple problem.
That simple problem is that they just do not have enough phone masts across the country and the reception is totally useless. I went to Cornwall on holiday and i was lucky to find 3 places where my phone found reception on the whole of the holiday. It was so useless that I couldn't even move around the holiday home without my phone losing the network reception.
