Good Points: Great album sleeve (especially if you find it on vinyl), cool titles and some fab hammond-driven grooves. Kinda cheesy at times, the whole thing is a little tongue in cheek.
Bad Points: Kinda cheesy at times, the whole thing is a little tongue in cheek.
General comments: Corduroy, Dad Man Cat won't change your life - although the whole Acid Jazz thing did have quite an impact on my social habits at that the time (Jelly Jazz at the Quay Club in Plymouth became a regular haunt) - but it might just do the job if you fancy something undemanding to listen to on, say, a lazy Sunday afternoon. Certainly better than their albums that followed too.

The classic sound of British Acid Jazz. These guys defined a genre. The first album from Corduroy, these boys defined a sound that reverberated around the London jazz scene.
Not to be missed!
