Purchased 30ml Dior J'adore for £47 on 16th Dec 14, for delivery to Southampton store by 12.00 midday on 17th. Went to collect and was told that the item had not been delivered yet. No apologies, just told to come back later. On the way out of the store I went past the Dior counter and asked if there was any problem with supply. Debenhams claim: Items will be delivered within four working days. The reality: Debenhams say the item is lost in transit after allegedly being dispatched two weeks ago. “Appalling customer services. Never buying from them...”

I recently ordered some underwear online but before receiving them I found them cheaper elsewhere. That's ok I thought ill just return them when I receive them which I did. However 2 weeks later they sent the goods back to me because according to them it didn't meet their returns policy as there were no seals on the boxes. “Non Delivery”

A shirt was purchased at the Chester store, using the on line ,in house system. After waiting longer than the promised delivery date, re delivery was arranged.Still no shirt. Tried to exchange a faulty bottle of perfume at the Clinique counter. It was refused by both assistant and her manager despite the fact I was obviously disabled and walked very badly with a stick & had just made a special journey to make the exchange. Was given address of Clinique Head Office. Reason for refusal was Debenhams stocktaking policy. “Customer services are a joke”

Purchased a bag online which broke on its first outing. 11 emails later still no joy. They clearly don't look at previous correspondence and have no intention of being any help at all. I was under the impression it was illegal not to replace faulty goods, but that doesn't seem to stop Debenhams. I will never order or buy anything from them ever again. Ordered for the first time in my life from debenhams online two wonderbras totalling £52, a week later no parcel. Contacted CS who told me items were still on way then a few minutes in to the convesation it transpires the parcel has been "lost" by the courier, I'd say more than likely stolen as stuff doesn't simply disappear or indeed try to deliver itself. “Avoid Debenhams store!!!”

I have to express my disbelieve and disappointment in this store. They left my parcels at my neighbour (who is a criminal) so i spent 6 days by knocking on his door, wrote him two letters. When visiting the store in Bedford on Saturday 8th march I was very disappointed with the service I received. I wanted to make a purchase for some foundation from the Dior make up counter. “Poor customer service”

I went to the mac section a couple of weeks ago. “appalling dodgy never shop at debenhams plus”

This is the worst ever retail service of my life. I bought a tablet for 219 pounds and I had to return it because I got another one as a gift at thr same time. I didnt even open the package and paid for its return myself via royal mail. When asked refund they won't refund me 219 pounds because I didnt agree to pay a 20 pounds charge. “No refund on return”

I purchased 2 items early December, returned a dress that was a completely different colour to the images through my works post collection service, Debenhams haven't refunded my card and now claim they haven't received the dress and as I don't have a post office stamp for the return they wont do anything.
