    went on the there site for there xmas 2009 25% offers but as the same as last year IT WAS NOT WORKING but will go to the store to find out that they have not got the things we need ( THE SAME AS 2008 I BET) they should have every thing working but as the same last.2 years running shop on line when they have offers on is a joke

    Just thought I would write a quick review as we are always good at complaining but never thank excellent service.

    I big thank you to staff in Debenhams Glasgow in childrens wear for their excellent customer service and assistance, much appreciated on Thursday 10 September.

    Ordered a chair from Debenhams on-line in July with a 4-5 working day delivery. I am still waiting. I feel that I am being fobbed off with excuses about tracking orders. I will never order anything on-line from them again. For such a big company I am disappointed with their services.

    Ordered a dress from Debenhams. Waited over 2 weeks. No dress. Sent email. Informed that dress was out of stock. Got my credit card statement. I was charged for it and not refunded. called cutomer services, who informed me that there were no plans for a refund and he was not authorised to do it. I had to ring them and email them to get my money back.

    This has happened 2 times.

    Debenham's customer service record is disgusting...I am still waiting for some of my stuff after sending it in bits and bobs...it has been over a month now.

    My previous order also took over a month...I shall not order online from debenham ever again

    As i was shopping in Debenhams for a wedding outfit with my daughter and future son in law.A personal shopper approached us all i can say she was so brilliant she did everything, we were very impressed with her service.She was great it made our day so easy as we did not have to keep getting dressed and undressed searching for different styles and sizes.thanks you are a star!!!!!

    Good Value for Money - generally good service - Debenhams opens longer than any other department store so very convenient.

    I love their kids ranges - much better than Next and funkier than M and S.

    I have ordered online 2 items for my son from debenhams, was promised that will recieve e-mail updates on my order. Waited and waited, recieved no e-mails whatsoever. E-mailed to debenhams - no reply. Probably they are too busy to reply as this is only a small order. I'm pleased that i haven't placed a big order as the service is crap. Will be ringing them tonight and cancelling the order. Never ever had such bad service from anybody else and that suppose to be an exelent store!!!

    I bought a dress from Debenhams on the phone the 6th of March. I was promised to get it within 5 days. when i called, they said they couldnt garanty delivery before 10 days. i still didnt get it after 10 days and every day that i called them they told me a new excuse. the 30th of March, almost a whole month after, i called them and said i had enough of all the distress and waiting for this dress and wanted a refund. they said they were sorry and that they would refund me my money without any ext ...

    I shop in browns of chester very often. I am a debenhams cardholder and have never had bad service. The staff are very friendly, helpful and go out of their way to help you.
    I have heard about some customers complaining about the returns policy. I do agree but it is the same in most retailers now.
    A very happy shopper.

    Good variety in stores but terrible service. I bought some clothes and 2 days after that they started with the sale. The manager refused to give the discount whereas most of the stores give a price protection. They even refused to return and bill the same item. I was really dissapointed as I used to shop from the store quite a bit. They need to start offering price protection.

    The price of goods is good, the quality of goods seems to be good. They also have banned cotton from Uzbekistan because of poor human rights and child forced labour.

    Overall it seems to be a good store in my opinion but I do know people that have had problems with the returns policy.

    Had purchased a dress online in June for a wedding, at last min the wedding was cancelled and I telephoned the customer services department to ask on procedures to return, was advised that shouldn't be a problem as not worn and still had proof of purchase, then passed through to store where explained situation again and was told that could have an exchange or money credited to gift card.     Im not impressed.
    if there is an addition service, (returning goods to the shop) after purchase from their web site, then there needs to be a more efficient way of dealing with it, and the staff need training .One lady who dealt with me said "it so rarely happened, when it does, no one knows what to do. She later said, it does now appear to be happening more frequently.I will never shop on the internet with them again, too much hastle.I am considering cutting up the Debenhams card, if id have ...

    I was just shopping in Debenhams and ended up getting a store card I didn't want due to an extremely hard sell. I was cajoled, stressed, embarrassed and tricked into signing up. I was told it would be cheaper to use the card than to use the tokens and cash I had on me. It cost '£13 more to use the card. I'm unemployed which makes it a big joke that they gave me one anyway - the thing has protection in case you lose your job and can't pay the balance.

    Customer service is usually good at Debenhams.

    I prefer the 12 hour extravaganza when you get a higher percentage off if they have the size that you want.

    They have good number of stores - Canterbury and Westwood Cross are both good - Folkestone not so good.

    I ordered from Debenham's online. I know it is probably my own fault but I ordered two of the same orders because I missed the 15% discount code. One order - full price 2nd order 15% off. To cut a long story short, I e-mailed Debenhams to explain the situation and to simply cancel the first order.
