“Refund? - waiting 2+ months and still no refund”

Item ordered online, incorrect size despatched by DP. Returns no. obtained then item returned 2+ months ago via Royal Mail (Proof of Posting receipt obtained). Despite numerous emails and writing to Head Office (no reply from HO) I have yet to receive a refund or any explanation. Despite sending, via email and letter, full details incl. a copy of Proof of Posting receipt as requested, DP customer services repeatedly ask for copy of Proof of Posting receipt. “Terrible customer 'service' from Dorothy Perkins -avoid !”

Ordered a cheap top online and arranged for click and collect as I thought that would be easy. Wrong! Firstly, click and collect is very misnamed as it takes ages, much longer than any other high street store I have ever used this type of service in. Having made an internet purchase from Dorothy Perkins I tried to return the item to a store unfortunately they wouldnt accept this return so I had to return it by post. “Cancelled Code”

I used a code to place an order on Friday giving me £25 off and free P&P. I received a conformation email. Three days later I have now received an email advising me they have cancelled my order due to the code having expired when I placed the order. This is obviously a blatant lie as I wouldn't be able to use it if it had expired - they had a glitch in their online system and are using it as an excuse to not honour the orders. “25 days waiting for my refund and counting”

I have been a regular online customer of DP for years however that relationship has now ended. I returned goods on 10th may and had 1 of my 2 parcels refunded but not the 2nd (although they have confirmed they have received the 2nd). I have sent 2 emails and on both occasions been told that I have to wait 28 days before I can take this further. They were quick to take my money but reluctant to give it back. “Spend your hard earned cash elsewhere!”

I bought 2 pairs of identical pumps for work wear. Within the week, the sole of the pair of pumps came off. Returned some items on the 19th Oct, no refund over 3 weeks later, emailed to chase up, reply was I had to wait 28 days, so emailed them receipt of delivery anyway just to speed things up, as was pretty sure that after 28 days they would claim not to have received parcel back and ask for receipt. “Zip broke on dress on arrival. ”

Ordered a dress for my daughter, we were all excited to receive the parcel, only to be very disappointed when we opened it. The zip on the dress was broken. This had came from the warehouse and hadn't even been checked before leaving, it was easily spotted as the zip was stuck half way down the dress and the dress was on a hanger so not exactly hidden.. First of all- no shop has to give you a refund simply because you changed your mind. It is something most shops do for good customer service, but sadly people think it's their inheritant right.

Second of all- it's written on the back of the receipt that earrings are non refundable (unless faulty) for hygiene reasons. It doesn't matter how long you had them. Just in the same way that you can't return bikini bottoms with the hygiene strip removed.

Third of all- dp only limits this policy to earrings and bikini bottoms. Some shops won't refund ANY jewellery

“Did not received my order”

I have tried to fill out the form provided on their web page, but I always receive just a notice about mistake and undelivered mail on my mail. “shocked at the service”

Stood at the till waiting to be served,thought i must be invisible, there was only me there with 3 staff behind the counter. Then after what seemed forever the chap said u alright there. scanned the items brought up the wrong price on two items had to tell him he hed over charged me didnt bother him. I wouldn't even give them 1 star If possible. I bought an item over a month ago and still waiting a refund, I am disabled and that money should have gone towards a gas bill, instead I froze this month while they are sitting on their warm backsides processing a package....what are they doing??? I can't deny I love their clothing but their customer service and returns policy is non existent. “STEALING FROM U.S CUSTOMERS!!”

Something told me to read the reviews after purchasing,which was quite backwards my behalf , and I really am shocked at all the reviews of them charging customers from the US and not sending off the product. “the worst customer service I've ever experienced”

it is beyond me that in this day and age a company could have such terrible customer service. I've sent three emails via the online form and never received a single response. unbelievable!! plus, as a US customer shipping takes forever unless you pay $30 and you have to pay for returns. “DISGUSTED ”

Ordered an item on Click and collect next day service (Saturday). Article didn't arrive at store until Monday - no good to me as it was too late and I can't get to local store in the week due to work. “Terrible online customer services”

I recently had an incomplete order from Dorothy Perkins and after 5 emails and 3 20 minute phone calls later I finally received an actual response rather than their previous automated responses. They were still "looking into matters" I had to wait over 3 weeks to finally be refunded after getting several confusing responses. “Shopping experience”

Went into a store to be greeted by two members of staff one at each end of the store having very loud discussion. when my daughter went to take an item off a rail she was brushed aside by staff member hanging clothes back on the rail. The parcel should have arrived on a Saturday and when there was no sign of it I tracked the parcel to find it had been delivered.
