“Such appalling Customer Service”

I have a billing address and a delivery address. I ordered a table. Received a planter but it did come to the delivery address. Arranged a courier collection for the return of the planter. Two day window for the collection to happen!!!! Outrageous. Courier was a no show. Great! Had a moan to La Redoute. No compensation for poor service offered. “Never had a worse experience with online shopping....”

Never had a worse experience with online shopping. Very very poor customer service. I ordered a piece of furniture on the 22nd of September. Had it delivered by Panther on a day that we were not in as we couldn't get in contact with them to reschedule the redelivery. Panther ended up smashing the piece of furniture 9 days ago. Ordered some trainers, and received a text a couple of days later saying there was a delay in despatch, a few days later another text saying they had been despatched, a few days later saying they wouldn't be long, a few days later (2+ weeks since ordering) I emailed asking where they were to be told they hadn't been despatched but would in in 7 - 10 days. I placed a order mistakenly, rang customer service within minutes, was told I could not cancel order, JOKE! Wouldn't recommend or use again. Why on earth can you not cancel a order within minutes or purchasing, now they say they will send item out then bring it back, I will be seeking legal advice if they even think or charging me a penny. “Website won't process order but have pending payment...”

I tried to place an order on their website. When I put in my payment details and verified with my bank, I was taken back to their site where it said "order confirmation failed". My bank account, however, had a pending payment on it for the order. Contacted La Redoute who said they hadn't received the order. I tried it again and the same thing happened. “Irresponsible Customer Service & Unreliable Delivery”

I ordered a coat in Nov 2015 which i had to return as it was too loose for the size. It took me 2 months to receive my refund and that after sending 2 emails and making 3 phone calls. Recently, i bought a gift for my husband and waiting for three weeks to come, i realised the purchase has been cancled without any notification or reason. “Great bargains.. until they can't deliver”

Ordered a few items, seemed a good deal, some of the order arrived within a couple of weeks, the last item 8 weeks on, still undelivered and on back order. This is despite showing as in-stock at time of ordering. This shows a real problem with this companies stock and order management. I ordered two T-Shirts and a coat from La Redoute and the website would not work and so I used the customer services....I had a French lady who was very nice. After seven days my order still hadn't arrived I phoned them and they said my payment didn't go through. I asked why they couldn't have emailed and told me this as opposed to keeping me waiting but the English agent was very rude and offered no explanation... “Passing off inferior goods”

I recently ordered a leather jacket, and paid for it up front. When it arrived it was completely crushed and creased all over, not only that, it was not the advertised product,the leather was inferior quality, cut shorter, pockets and sleeves quite different. I've seen better quality on cheap market stalls!
