I ordered a bed a month ago for delivery to day last night I had a massage saying bed will be with me 8-10am will get a call 1 hr before so to day at 10.05 am had a chat with argos they said the driver was running 1.30hrs late . “Reserve and collect really good - and prices are great”

I recently bought from Argos, shopping online, and using the reserve and collect process. I haven't shopped at Argos since the early 1980s, mainly because I thought they were a trashy store, but the experience was really good. I passed through the check-out and collection process very quickly, and got the items I needed far cheaper than any other outlet. warning to all argos customers - they will not refund your £10 promotional gift voucher if you use it as part payment to buy and return goods that are damaged because of their incompetence in packing. I ordered a washing machine from Argos last week, and paid for home delivery. I also made sure there was special instruction on my receipt for the delivery men that the item needed to be lifted up 2 flights of stairs as I would be unable to help my partner lift it, as I am pregnant. “Buy now pay later”

Bought a fridge and dishwasher on BNPL 6 months scheme, delivered on time and they took old appliances away. Paid within 6 months so I didn't pay anything extra. 2 Years later and the appliances are still going strong (1 call out was made because there was a button stuck in the water pipe though making it not drain right) If I need anymore stuff in the future then I will definitely be buying from Argos with the BNPL again… Read Full Review

I ordered and paid for a GDHA 1500WC integrated wine cooler online on 10 December 2014. It eventually arrived at my work (I had to wait there) at 8pm on 18 December. When I got it home, I found that the cooler had a massive dent in it and the door was damaged. I purchased a TV from argos which came damaged out of the box. 1 inch deep scratch on the screen and stuck pixels. I took the TV to the Kings Lynn New Conduit Street store. The manager looked at the TV and said this was consumer damage. THE TV IS BRAND NEW AND UNDER 2 MONTHS OLD He called me a liar which was very embarrasing infront of a store full of people.. Would never shop here again. Bought a wardrobe, noticed damaged when got it home. Told had to go to another store to pick up replacement parts. These were also damaged.
