I left my purse in Argos, Huddersfield Leeds road store. The sales advisor saw it and when I went back to collect it everything was intact. Not many people are honest and look out for others now and it was such a relief to have it back. He was the angel of the day for me and if he wasn't as vigilant it would have easily been taken by someone who wasn't as honest. Thanks so much. How easy is this?! Ordered our new TV on a Sunday morning and collected it half an hour later. No waiting in for deliveries; a great stress free way of shopping. Our new flat screen TV was great and only £149.99. Plug and play? Yes! Turned it on, pressed a few buttons and we are away. They failed to deliver when promised and to add insult to injury (and more lost wages waiting around) when I asked for another date they said it would be 9 days later. I have used Argos several times. They have a store about 1 mile from my house and it's so handy being able to reserve an item online then jump in the car and pick it up. Just the other day my sister-in-law suggested a birthday present for my neice from Argos and the whole process was about as smooth as it could be. I ordered multiple items online value approximately £150 and whilst I was ordering all items were fine for home delivery. I got a date set but no set time line in between hours on a Saturday, had to get my MOT done that day basically 5 minutes drive away but unluckily for me the delivery came when I was out, driver phoned me to say he was at my place advised him I was around the corner and on my way back. My 9 month old 42" plasma TV broke down 3 weeks ago. AFter three visits from repair men, I'm now told it can't be repaired. I phoned customer care, explained I wanted a refund - they put me on hold and have hung up! I am still without a TV. I bought this vacuum cleaner 3 months ago and the performance is really bad I wouldn’t recommend this product to anyone. It doesn’t do the job and at some point stop working so you have to wait a few minutes in order to use it again and I live in a small flat.! Definitely it’s not worthy to spend £ 55 in this vacuum. Hello, We purchased a Morphy Richards Slow cooker (£35.98) and Argos product replacement insurance cover (£5.99) in October 2010. After 6 months use the slow cooker went faulty and started to melt one day whist unattended. It not only destroyed itself but also burnt a hole through our Kitchen work top. About 2 years ago I bought a treadmill from Argos in Dublin. I live in a second floor apartment. Yodel are a dreadful company. I have seen some horrendous stories about people's experience with Yodel. I refuse to use a company they supply for. If you must use Argos, go in store or use their reserve in-store items. You will get less selection, but you will have what you ordered.
Yodel have an awful reputation which is why they had to change their name to try and shake it (home delivery network), but they just can't get the service right.

Just because they are one of the biggest retailers out there, they seem to think that they can treat home delivery customers like dirt. Echoes. My saga still goes on since before Xmas into April, Promptly debited, but item delivered to wrong address- as proved eventually and definitely. Responsibility seems to transfer to 'Suppliers' from Argos. Customer services team has endless changing members . I have found them polite, but inconclusive.
Presently, I am left with no product and no refund . And no responses .(no arrangements with me, for original delivery despite many requests, by the way)
