Bought a fridge and dishwasher on BNPL 6 months scheme, delivered on time and they took old appliances away. Paid within 6 months so I didn't pay anything extra. 2 Years later and the appliances are still going strong (1 call out was made because there was a button stuck in the water pipe though making it not drain right) If I need anymore stuff in the future then I will definitely be buying from Argos with the BNPL again… Read Full Review

I ordered and paid for a GDHA 1500WC integrated wine cooler online on 10 December 2014. It eventually arrived at my work (I had to wait there) at 8pm on 18 December. When I got it home, I found that the cooler had a massive dent in it and the door was damaged. I reported the problem to customer services the next day and was promised an urgent replacement before Xmas, as it was a Xmas present, and that they would call me back to confirm. I purchased a TV from argos which came damaged out of the box. 1 inch deep scratch on the screen and stuck pixels. I took the TV to the Kings Lynn New Conduit Street store. The manager looked at the TV and said this was consumer damage. THE TV IS BRAND NEW AND UNDER 2 MONTHS OLD He called me a liar which was very embarrasing infront of a store full of people.. Would never shop here again. Bought a wardrobe, noticed damaged when got it home. Told had to go to another store to pick up replacement parts. These were also damaged. I went into Argos to prefer an item which I had found ononlinewhen entering the store I found the number and was told the product was in stock. Going to the till I played and gave my details for delivery I was then told the item was out of stock. Bought something online and paid in advance to collect in Fast Track, when I got to the store the systems were down so they couldn't give me my order or even cancel it and no idea when they would be back up. Waited 20 mins as they suggested, then left empty-handed. Would have been better if I hadn't paid, since I could just forget that order and buy it in store from scratch. “Faulty product and rubbish deisgn”

I brought a wardrobe with a mirrored door that I waited 5 weeks for and spent a whole day putting up. I have had it a month and the door has fallen off already twice! resulting in damage to the frame. All I get offered from Argos is a replaced or £25.00 to get fixed. If I get a replacement the hinges still wont be able to hold the weight of the door shorly and they have the check to tell me I will have to take it down so they can collect it and then I can waste another day putting a new one… Read Full Review

Black Friday...more like black everyday. This company's service is ridiculous. I received the wrong item repeatedly then returned them following their returns procedure and still have not received a refund. I bought a cheap laptop from them (An Acer Chromebook C720). After a few days it developed a fault - a line of dead pixels down the right hand side of the monitor. I took it back and they exchanged it for a new one in a few minutes, no hassle!
