“Argos corner sofa delivery appalling!”

We had to wait over 6 weeks for our Heart of House corner sofa to be delivered, when it did come they delivered two right hand pieces, instead of one right hand and one left hand that slots together. Despite their extensive network, Argos told me they couldn't get the right part until 3 weeks after. Which tells me they didn't actually construct the sofa properly, or there would be the corresponding left hand sofa somewhere that they could deliver. When I make a particular request it would be reasonable for me to assume that the items displayed are according to my search. Alas it appears that Argos choose to ignore your aspirations and attempt to sell you something you do not need. I'm disgusted with Argos after my most recent order. Firstly they send me the same item damaged twice, then they repeatedly mess up pick up on returns and to cap it all off I waited patiently till the last day for my refund, my birthday no less so relying on the money, and when it didn't come rang to be told "oh sorry the finance department haven't processed it. “Worst Global Retailer”

I'm now up to 50 mins on hold. This is the 3rd time Ive tried to get someone to pick up. Nobody does. Don't try emailing though, if you do you will get an automated response telling you they'll come back to you in 48 hours. They will fail to do this. “Disgusting Customer service ”

Product had already been opened and had parts of box missing, staff used disgusting and vulgar language when I refused to take away an obvious tampered with item. Managers insisted that I had damaged the item when I had bought it moments before hand. Washing machine was delivered and installed fine, its the type that has dryer built in, nothing but problems with it, the dryer keeps resetting and flashing all the LEDs, been seen to 2x and still does it.
