Guided By Voices, Mag Earwhig - Yet another brilliant collection from this ridiculously productive band of catchy lo-fi classics with unusual song titles. If you like Guided By Voices then you'll know exactly what to expect; if not, expect great riffs you'll hum for days, songs with unusual subject matter, scratchy, somewhat haphazard production which adds to the charm, and loads of jangly guitars. As with any GBV album there are better and worse bits - any band who puts out 2 albums a year is allowed some filler though. Overall, it's not as good as Under the Bushes Under the Stars, but it will certainly do!
