Good Points: Still a player, reasonably cheap, tv out.
Bad Points: Not direct x 9 ready.
General comments: I bought this MultiMedia GeForce 3 Ti 500 Video Graphics Card at a computer fair for £42, it is the OEM version with 64 meg ddr ram.
It runs Unreal Tournament 2003 in 1024 x 768 with all effects on a 2gig xp chip, the card is very fast and will sit happily in my system for many months to come. A friend of mine has the same cpu as me and runs a Radeon 9000 pro, this has 128 meg of ram but it benches lower in Mad Onions 2001 SE.
On the whole it is an excellent card, why bother going for a card like the 4200 ti or even the 4600 TI when you are swapping one non direct x 9 card for another. I would probably upgrade this card in 18 months time for a DX9 card, probably a Radeon 9700 Pro, even then I bet I could get back roughly what I paid for the GF3.
