This is quite simply brilliant! 'Whatever' is one of the most up beat Oasis tracks, and is bound to put a smile on your face even when your having a terrible day. The strings are astonishingly superb, Liam Gallagher's vocal's are powerful and brilliant, and Noel Gallagher once again shows what an extremely talented song writer he is, pouring his heart in to the song. 'Whatever' is one of those rare songs guaranteed to lift your spirits up.

Whatever provides a breezy transition single between the Oasis's debut album phase and their Morning Glory phase. Whatever, is the perfect Brit-pop collage of string instruments and rock musical tastes. Two strong B-sides and a cut from the debut album are also available on the single, which give the single a unique self-contained mini-album feel. (read more)
