    Really bowled over by the Doves. The lush, psychedelic, heavily processed studio effects work well against the backdrop of a more traditional basic guitar driven sound. Brave move when there are so many garage bands around. An incredible talent. Some of the songs are so sad - like the one about the old man presumably talking to his exuberant son about how he won't use him for advice. Hard to describe why they are so good they just have that special "something"
