Have you ever felt emotions so overwhelming that you could not even describe? Well, Damien Rice will put that in words for you. In a way you have never imagined. So deep, yet so down to earth, so metaphoric, yet so real. Double it with perhaps the most sincere tone of voice and a beauty of expression 'and you still will not understand, until you actually listen to him.I fell in love with 0 in the first moment. And although saying now that you love The Blower's Daughter has become a cliche, I cannot accept that. Because Damien's songs are a personal experience. Because every time you listen to a track, you find a new modulation of the voice, you discover a swallowed tear you had ignored, you give different and multilayered interpretations to the lyrics. You fit the song to your mood, to your story, you make it yours and yours only. You take it in your arms, in your heart and never let it go. Then you buy other albums, you go to parties, you listen to plenty of music. But as soon as you remember him, you miss the album as much as he misses the lover he is moaning for. As much as you miss your loved one. You want to have listen to it over and over again. To remember, to cry, to adore the sounds. To go deep when the violins dig in the harmonies or when the instruments add up to such a powerful mean of expression.0 is the embodiment of suffering out of love, of the sublime despair when you realise you are lost, when you finally accept that the imagination and hope and desire cannot cope with real facts anymore. The one you love but were to shy to confess to, marries somebody else (Cheers Darlin ' ). Your loved one means everything to you, but your feelings are not returned (Delicate), or somebody worships to you, but you cannot fall for her (Volcano: you give me miles and miles of mountains, and I ask for the sea 'how beautiful is that?). You reached the bottom, and sink in Cold Water. I will stop here as no words can cover the experience of Damien's song. Every sound, every fragment, every verse bares an inexpressible load, a depth that has to be revealed to each and every one in a special way.

There's only really one word to describe Damien Rice's O album, and that is BEAUTFIL.

I absolutely love Damien Rice! He has the most emotive lyrics and also a great sounding voice. It is an excellent album to sit and relax to. If you like this album I'd recommend checking out his B sides, as they are also brilliant. I just hope he keeps making great albums like this for a long time to come!

The blowers daughter, from the movie Closer, is simply outstanding. Everyone has that moment in their life when they simply 'can't take my eyes off you', but the backing vocals near the end of the song are breathtaking, especially when you are in your own little world chilling with your headphones on, volume blaring. I am so glad that my sister told me about Damien Rice's album! I will definitely be looking out for him touring in the future.

O by Damien Rice is a really gorgeous album. I'm not trying to sugarcoat everything, I mean the lyrics are very emotional, very personal and touching, but they aren't anything incredibly new or superior. However, the gentle yet powerful music blends perfectly to create a really special album. Damiens voice is tender and he has the natural gift of being able to pluck and reach at your emotions. A real gift of an album, O is a rare and wonderful contribution to todays majority diet of pop wannabee ...

This album, Damien Rice, O, has ispired me, how someone so young can write lyric's like the one's on this album. The music on this album is beautiful and relaxing and the words in the songs touch my heart and I think anyone that listens to the album can relate to one of the songs and it will remind them of someone or something they have been through. It amazes me that none of his songs sound the same they are all different and just when I thought I heard the best song the next song would shock m ...

Damien Rice, O - Some of the best lyrics I've had the pleasure of hearing in my lifetime. It makes a good change from all the wannabes, e.g., any pop or hip hop.

Damien Rice, O - Damien Rice is the most talented singer-songwriter of the past 20 years. His new album is unbeilevably underrated. His songs are very emotional and are about different relationships. The lyrics are up inspirational and even his back up singer is briiliant. Once you've heard Damien Rice, you'll be craving more of his wonderful songs. There really is not a poor song on this album.

Damien Rice O, 'Still a little bit of your taste in my mouth, still a little bit of you laced with my mouth...'that song means so much to me, reminds me of a certain someone who doesn't know how much they mean to me, every time I hear it it reminds me of our good times and that I've been happy...
