Good Points: Tilt wheel is a great idea
    Optical and wireless - great

    Bad Points: Quite chunky
Wheel is very stiff and doesn't always register
"Tilt" isn't all its cracked up to be.
    Overall, a badly-conceived product.

General comments: I was disappointed with this mouse. I expected great things from the tilt wheel device. Firstly, wheel click is very stiff in comparison to every other mouse I have tried (I have assigned double-click to the wheel button, so use it quite a lot). Secondly, because it is so stiff, it sometimes doesn't register.
Tilt action is quite smooth. If you tilt in one direction, you can go beyond the "click" to a second click. For some reason, Microsoft have only assigned the first click in each direction. What a waste of a button assignment. If anyone does decide to buy one, though, I got mine (brand new!) for £17.00 on Ebay, rather than the extortionate £39.99 you see it for in some shops!!!

I'm using this mouse for almost a year , and i can say im very satisfied with this mouse. First of all im left handed therefore its hard to find a mouse which fits my hand, but this one is just perfect for both right and left handed people. And it looks really great i mean i love the red light under it. It's quality is high i dropped it many times but it always worked. Overall this is a great mouse for this price if you want to have a good mouse without spending a lot of money go for it ...

An excellent pointing device from Microsoft. A definite step up from the previous standard wheel mouse, the Wheel Mouse Optical is now the essential basic mouse hardware for PCs. Not being wireless isn't a drawback at all on something so well-made and pleasing to use. Great for all applications and games.

I would recommend this product to anyone who does not wish to pay the £40 asking price for a cordless mouse. I bought it new in the sale at a well known UK computer shop for less than £20. I would not be without it. The wire is a slight disadvantage but it does not hinder its use nor is it too short. Great mouse.
