Ordered a product here for a birthday present. Could not wish for a better service. Dispatch and Delivery was super fast. Product was extremeley well packaged. Product description was perfect and reviews of the product on the product page really helped me decide that this product was perfect for the recipient. Ordered a Samsung Galaxy S3 on the Monday, got no emails regarding despatch so I ran them on the Thursday and they told me it had been shipped and would be with me on the Monday. Sunday afternoon I received an email cancelling my order but giving no reason for this. I had booked the time off work as they said it was coming by private courier. So everything they told me was a lie. I recommend that no one should buy from the Company. They can't provide the goods and when you ring them... (read more)

Ordered Galaxy S3 on Friday 4 days later I get call telling me card rejected. Gave them same card details and surprise it worked. Now it has been 8 days since order still no phone and the customer service number is unobtainable. Glad I paid by credit card. Price was good but the customer experience isn't up to scratch. Great service, and customer service quality. They have a no BS approach to everything. Easy to use website, with a laugh. Placed the order on the 19th after 4PM, dispatched 30 minutes (yes, I mean it) later. Arrived today (21st) as good as new. I phoned to get the VAT refunded (as channel islands don't get charged it), done straight away. I've phoned them a few times and got through straight away every single time. Now this is how a company should be run.
I ordered a lonely planet sack boy toy basicaly ax I couldnt get it anywhere else and googled companies with it in stock Firebox worked out best value.
After the post office lost all orders from the week I ordered Firebox sent it out next day at no cost to me the staff were polite and apoligised even though delay was not thier fault.

I've ordered multiple items from Firebox over the years - including many of my xmas pressies for this year and have always been delighted with every aspect of the process. Good clear website, easy to search, nice pictures and lots of info, upfront delivery charges, easy to use web forms... all good. Fantastic company. I've checked on other websites and didn't find many of their products cheaper. Their website is great, very easy to use and good for finding gifts with plenty of information, photos, reviews and videos for each product so you know exactly what you're getting. I bought my items in two separate deliveries, I used the free November delivery for one, and paid for a Saturday delivery for the other. Over the years I have occasionally bought items from Firebox and I've always had fast delivery with excellent customer service. One of the best features on their site is that customers can leave their own reviews, photos and even videos of the products bought from the site and I recommend reading them before you buy. Some people ask questions about the products in these review areas and Firebox will often answer them!

Have used www.firebox.com on a number of occasions successfully in the past but not so on my last purchase.
Purchased a chocolate pizza as a gift. The parcel arrived late and in a battered state - certainly not fit to be a gift. Futhermore, the product appears to be over priced for what you get.

This unit is a great idea, but I would say, its a dream, I thought the instructions were hard to follow, even when I got it set up the VCR was not effective, I thought all my VHS tapes were faulty, until I tried them on my normal VCR and they were perfect. Program kept crashing the PC, you also need a USB 2 which it does not tell you until you get the unit.
Firebox are sending me a replacement to try so will see if its just a faulty unit or they are all the same!

I agree with this review because...yes thewampster your right, an odd gadget or something different then this is the site to have a sniff around. the service is good the products are good. i will hold my hand up and say i like the aviation stuff but what great products, have fun lifes to short..
