The Sharp Ace Hunter .22cal is not the quietest of air rifles, but this rifle will perhaps be one of the best air rifles you could ever own if you could ever find one for sale… Read Full Review

“I got a Sharp Ace Hunter air rifle in .22cal last...”

I got a Sharp Ace Hunter air rifle in .22cal last summer after hearing nothing but good reviews about it. It only took me some months to find one that was in excellent condition with a deal ($370).

Having owned a Benjamin as my 1st pump rifle in the past (a custom steriod version), I never even expected the ace hunter to be as smooth and accurate as it is. Accuracy is so impressive, that PCPs can be compared to it.

At 10yards using stock peep sights and a rest, I usually get a 5shot group… Read Full Review

I quite agree of your experience. However it is easy to find in sharp ace in Indonesia (cal .177). The rifle can drop 5 thumb-nails in a series at about 35 m. Seven pumps will satisfy you in those range.

I have a couple of the Sharp Ace clones. They are quite accurate and I don't know where the fellow above is coming from calling them "dangerous". Not as nice a gun as the Sharp but at 1/3 the price how could it be. They only make them in .177 as larger calibers are illegial in Indonesia. Anyway, I have a couple in mint condition I'd sale. Genuine Sharp air rifles are made in Japan. Those found in Indonesia are local made products stamping the Sharp brand. It is pretty dangerous to buy such a product in Indonesia as bona fide Sharp products. These Indonesian made Sharps are badly made with sub-standard materials. It is not safe to use!

Dear Craig, It's not the end of the Sharps Ace or Innova, all of the `O` ring seals are a standard size & can be bought from garages or motor cycle shops if you've got the old one as a pattern. The piston head is a problem, but if push comes to a shove, you can get an engineering company to turn up a new one, but use an `O` ring as a seal instead of the hard rubber head.

i love the sharp ace pump gun .22,
but now you`ll find there are no more parts being made for such a wonderfull air gun.
this gun will be fazed out in the next eight years or so.
due to the fact that parts for the gun can no longer be got.
this upset`s me as i have owned my sharp ace since i was 12 years old and now all i can do is see this gun fade into the background where it does not belong,
this gun it one of the best air guns i have ever owned for power of 30 foot pound is easy got just by blocking the pump head hole.

anyway i hope you all enjoyed you sharps guns as this is now the end of such a wonderfull rifle.
