Good Points: Streisand and Gibb produce one of the most graceful and lush pop albums ever. This is one of Barbra's most commercially successful albums and with good reason. The fusion of classic Streisand sound with the harmonies and gentle instrumentation from producer Barry Gibb create an ethereal pop experience.
General comments: Numerous artists Streisand's lead of teaming with Bee Gee's Barry Gibb, including Dionne Warwick, but none were a successful as this triumph. The title track "Guilty" percolates with soft rhythm guitars and lush strings. The #1 Billboard hit, "Woman In Love" still stands as arguably the best single ever released by Streisand. "The Love Inside" blends soft vocals and strings that explodes into a power house ending, as does the track, "Make It Like a Memory."Streisand fans will always have albums the claim is their favourite, and it is hard to choose the best from her career. This album, more than any other Streisand release, probably has the most contemporary and timeless feel of all of them.

Review on 15th Dec 2006An album produced by Barry Gibb, it's full of light, romantic pop songs which are lyrically simple and abstract and allow Streisand's voice to soar without being hard to absorb.
