As the title suggests, I did once trust and enjoy this companies shopping experience but my most recent purchase was far from plain sailing. I ordered some phone camera lenses and went to pay using my debit card, I got through to the verification process but did not complete as I couldn't remember my password characters so came away from page and went back to the order to change it to PayPal then completed transaction... No problem but then I realised that I've stangly made two complete orders including the debit card payment. I went straight through to customer services within the minute to be told it could not be cancelled as the item has already despatched... Yeh of course it had!! My main concern is how they managed to complete the card payment??? Please be cautious!!

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the product, it is exactly as described and well worth the money. However I can no longer recommend 7dayshop, (in years gone by, and for years, I have recommended them to all and sundry). Alas no longer< I have experienced longer and longer times in deliveries. There are many occasions when the web site seems to have a mind of it's own, the filters appear to be very poor and I just get fed up and go elsewhere. If you have time to wait, I can truly recommend the product, the two stars is based on follow up to placing order and (in my opinion, a very unfriendly website).

Ordered 2 memory cards in November, one arrived quite quickly, the other didn't arrive so after a complaint and a wait for the 'lost in post' to time out, another card was sent but that was before Christmas, it arrived on 6th January too late for Christmas. Card works OK, but delivery VERY poor

I bought 3 Micro SD cards. They were packed tightly in cardboard glued to form a thin sandwich. I had to cut the cardboard to open it, there was no way to prise the front and back apart. It would have been too easy to cut into the product.

You need to let people know that if they order something......its not in stock...you need to inform people. At the moment, you say nothing and put it on a back order. I have waited over a month...then two weeks to actually receive the item. I had in fact ordered from somewhere else (why should I wait!!) You then take my money without telling me the item is back in stock and send it to me. When I spoke to customer services.....one agent did'nt know how to deal with me...the other was actually quite rude. Suggest... 7Dayshop...listens to people. Im not surprised you dont have phone contact. Trading out of Holland and shipping out of Finland....hope you pay the right tax. In future....I like your prices...but NOT the hassle! Thanks

Ordered a 16GB USB 2.0 Swivel Flash Drive Memory Stick on 6th August and received the item yesterday 12th August. So far so good. Price very cheap, delivery prompt and product looking very neat and unobtrusive. However, I suppose the low price should have raised some suspicions re quality. The drive is basically useless. More often than not when I insert it my computer does not recognize it. Sometimes it does show up as a useable drive but this is the rare exception. I had hoped to use it as a PVR on my television instead of the 8GB item currently in use but the tv doesn't recognize the drive at all. Just goes to show that if the price is very low so is the quality.

I ordered a Grixx USB 3.0 Flash Drive 90m/s - 64GB on the 30th June, on the 14th of July I contacted 7dayshop to inquire as to it's whereabouts as I needed it for the 16th, I had ordered it in plenty of time but it had failed to arrive, The person on the 'chat' system told me they were out of stock at the time and would send me one now as they had just got some in. I told her not to bother as I would have to purchase one from PC World because it was needed urgently now. There were no apologies forthcoming and as I had to make a 25 mile round trip to purchase a replacement I wasn't best happy! I appreciate a stock shortage but why can't they email us to inform that there would be delays? Guess what? It's turned up today (Saturday 18th !) even though I cancelled the order.

I'm not sure what is going on with this company. I have used them for years for ink cartridges and have been happy with their service. Unfortunately, things were not so good this time. I ordered some cartridges on 18 August. Three were in stock and one out of stock, so I expected to have to wait for one of them (they usually mail them individually anyway). By 29 August I had received nothing, so e-mailed them. I received a reply the next day saying that the order had been split and that the available ones would be sent to me. Still nothing. I was hoping to have the cartridges within a week; more than 18 days is too long, so I may look elsewhere in future. The lack of a telephone number is also not very helpful.

I have just received two small batteries along with a cover note for this order which, incidentally, I placed almost a month ago on 18th August. I should have received, if you will trouble to examine my order, two Epson colour inkjet cartridges - T0530/S020110/S020193.
Having waited this long for something I need (I realise that one cartridge was not in stock), I find that you have obviously mixed up the orders. What is happening to this company which I have used for years? What makes things worse is that it is now impossible to contact you by telephone. Needless to say, I shall not be using your services any more, and shall advise as many people as possible not to do so either.
I demand that you either forward the ink cartridges immediately, or make a full refund to my credit card. I am quite willing to take this matter to the Small Claims Court, if necessary, and shall do so if I have not received either the ink cartridges or a full refund within one week.
The batteries are available for your collection. Do not expect me to post them to you.

brought some 2500mAh batteries but they were not so great. I should really stick to branded ones. They lose their charge quicker then normal otherwise they are fine. Delivery was longer than 3 days.

At the time of replying to this comment these 2500mAh AA rechargeable batteries have 243 reviews at 7dayshop.com and rate at 4.8 stars out of a possible 5 stars so your experience seems to be one of the worst (unfortunately!). You may be aware that 7dayshop.com has a 101% Satisfaction assurance and all products are of course guaranteed for 1 year. Why not return them if you need too!?
Indeed on Amazon these batteries have 27 reviews and around 4.5 stars out of a possible 5 stars, so again this 2 star review is not reflective of the product or actually of 7dayshop.com as a business - I thought reviewcentre was about the business and not the products as such.
Anyway I hope that anyone readng this review will not be swayed away from what is a very popular and competitive website. Established in Year 2000 it has been trading in the UK longer than Amazon and on eKomi rates close to 100% with many more thousands of reviews...

The number 7 in the name means how long you have to wait for the goods - 7 days. Place on e-bay are a lot quicker and as cheap as well.

I've been using 7dayshop for several years. Great prices for products. However be warned most products ordered take several weeks to arrive. An unacceptably large number of items go missing and you are left to sort it out with Royal Mail. They need to sort out their courrier service which is their Achilles heel.

Hitherto, I had recommended 7dayshop to other people - and when all goes well, it does goes well. But as soon as something goes wrong - like the item running out of stock, the system collapses. Back orders do not get sent unless you jog their memory. In my case, that meant that the card had expired and I have a new one - so it refused their payment. They did not tell me - although they say I should have received an e-mail saying this had happened. I'm sure I should, but I did not. More importantly, I had ordered the camera under a special cashback offer from Canon. After consulting with Canon's extremely helpful customer care I have claimed the cashback, but now my invoice won't match the details on the cashback form.
I e-mailed them but received no apology for not having contacted me about the problem with the card, even though I have been a good customer for about six or seven years. No apology for not having tried to fulfill the order, long after the items were back in stock - and no postal address to which to make a formal complaint.
However, if people do have such problems with 7dayshop, I have discovered two addresses on the internet, and these will be next line of 'attack'. They are:

I used to be a fan of the 7dayshop site, and I recommended it to friends. However, their sudden upping of postage to Ireland from £3.95 to £7.95 has made their prices uncompetitive, and it's not worthwhile shopping with them any more.

I wanted to update my previous review to be fair to 7 day shop. I received my DVD ram within 5 days in seperate pouches to avoid VAT. Bear in mind that these were items I tried to stop the order on and I did not agree to purchase (The website did not let me go back from my initial intention to purchase having identified I was ordering the wrong product). I will have to keep them now because you cannot get any response from 7 day shop and they have no contact telephone number or address available on their web site.
All I can say is that they do deliver but make very sure that what you order is what you want and if anything goes wrong you won't be able to contact them.

Ordered a Sony V1 for a friend of mine, and some HP ink cartridges on Friday afternoon. With free delivery, everything arrived the following Friday morning. All in good shape, although if I was being pedantic the camera could have been packed a little better (more bubble wrap). On opening the camera, found it to be a US model although there was a UK plug packed with it! This is not a problem as the charger works on any voltage from 100-250 and the cameras are exactly the same. The only hassle will come if the unit goes faulty in the warranty period- how will 7dayshop deal with it?

Quick update since my last review- had loads of printer consumables (ink, paper,etc) from 7dayshop since, and no problems at all, until my last order which included a couple of BCI-6 inks for my Canon printer. When they arrived, the airtight bag and outer packaging was missing. After a small amount of investigating, I concluded (7dayshop didn't deny this) they were opening multipacks of ink and selling them seperately- for their usual individual price! I returned the opened items and got a refund, needless to say they have lost me (and a friend) as a customer for ink now.

I have used www7dayshop.com for quite some time to purchasing cheap film. As such I have had no problems. Their delivery speed is not the quickest - on time or a day or two late, and I have never had to use their customer service (possibly thankfully). They are ideal for a good deal on cheap items, but please read other reviews if you're looking to purchase something more costly.

I have bought a new Digital Cam from on 10/07 and It has not been dispatched yet. They say 1-4 working days but this is not true as Today is my 5th day. I should have searched for a review before buying from this website. I hope they will not charge me too much for tax charges.

I have just ordered a nice shiny and very cheap (hah, apparently) Nikon camera, only found out about the hidden import charge, that is not so easy to find on their website when I came accross this site . Although I haven't yet received the goods, it's only been a few days , I am not looking forward to a long wait for them as my account has already been debited. Oh well I'll just have to sit tight and wait, watch this space for a full review when my kit arrives.

We are terribly sorry to hear of the problem you underwent.
We changed our dispatch system so that orders are now sent direct to our warehouse. Whilst this will offer faster delivery times, we are unable to cancel orders as they are fed directly to the warehouse for dispatch.
