Well, shame on any of you who have said bad things about this phone. Take it from me, it's still desirable enough to steal as mine was taken from my gym locker recently and I really miss it. The menus were clear and easy to use, the screen was good and I never had any problems with it in the 2 years I used it. Text and phone calls were great-excellent reception. I never really used the net (which was slow) anyway and I don't know anyone with a wap phone who does, but the FM radio was great. ...

At the end of the day a phone is a phone is a phone. It is the extra features which make a phone attractive, this is a make or break point when buying.

The V2288 is a basic phone, it does this task very, very well. The phone menu system is simple to use and there is a quality feel to the handset. The buttons are generous in size and have a light yet firm feel to them, you could text all day on this phone with no discomfort.

There is no vibrate alert or voice active dialling, no games or ...

I HAVE HAD THE MOTOROLA NOW FOR A YEAR NOW IT WAS OK BEFORE I FOUND OUT ALL THE PEOPLE IN SCHOOL HAD BETTER ONES WITH GAMES AND SCREEN SAVERS. I HATE THE SIZE OF IT, IT'S BIGGER THAN MUCH OLDER PHONES!

This is my first phone and to be fair I DID actually like it until I realised all my friends had better phones than me. You have to send a text message to yourself to get the time, there are no logos, the ringtones are rubbish! A nice phone, kinda big but it's ok. Simple to use for a beginner

why try to keep up with other phones way out of their league with garbage like this. we want easy & reliable mobile phones with good screen grafs. dont they listen to us. this is the 3rd motorola i have had and will never buy another motorola product. after sales service is rubbish too, this phone has been repaired one and still plays up.

nokia is the best i think, that will be my next mobile phone.
i dont want the latest just a good reliable phone.

This Motorola V2288e mobile phone is great if u wanted a different phone and it had all of the faeatures of a nokia including wap and an FM radio, i mean that WAS cool but apart from that the novelty wore off very quickly! the covers were fiddly, the composer not that good, wap was good but it held the stereotypical old motorola shape.....BRICK! however i gave it to my kid brother and he loves it so...hey....good for a first time phone!

The icons on the Motorola V2288e mobile phone don't match those shown in the manual. Phone is well built and seems pretty robust. Ok if you just want a simple phone with no frills

I want to use another SIM on an Orange Motorola v2288 phone but when i switch on the phone after inserting the SIM, it displays something like "Please wait, insert special code"

I need help, email me back at jahnolaleye@yahoo.com
