    Good Points: user friendly interface

    Bad Points: Customer service

    General comments: I recently ordered a rather expensive item from Boys Stuff and initially the order seemed to go smoothly, however despite the order showing as placed on my account i had no conformation email.So i waited until the next day and gave them a phone, at first they could not find my order and said they would call me back (I did not receive a phone call) instead some time later i received an email asking for a bank statement or utility bill for which was fine so i rang them again to make sure this was correct and i was advised that because i have a paperless bank account i could send a text copy via email, which i did.Another day goes by and no correspondence from boysstuff, so i rang them for a third time and what did i get?Oh that file wasn't sufficient, you will need to make a pdf and send that.At this point i gave up and took my custom elsewhere.Its not so much that they were asking for the document a second time but that each and every time they needed something from me i had to contact them, and thank god i did as i feel i may have been still waiting for a reply a week from now otherwise.

    needed a pressie for a friend - Boys Stuff has great stuff for guys (and gals). good customer service - great website with lots of stuff - could have spent hundreds!

    I have used boysstuff before with no problems. However, this time when I went to order a birthday present for a friend, as I live in Northern Ireland, they tried to charge me £4.95 + £8 for postage and packaging. They also did not tell me they were going to do this until after I had placed your order, so you then had to email them telling them to cancel it! I sent them a disgusted email and received a reply saying simply the order was cancelled. I found the item on another website ...

    Get in touch with the BBC Watchdog Programme about the problems you have had with Boys Stuff, I have and the more people that do, the more chance of something happening.

    I made a order for my girlfriend for valentine's day on the 27-01-07, which was invoiced on 29-01-07. Now its been 2 weeks on the date of this review that I still haven't received my goods, I've sent loads of emails and had no reply, I've rang them and keep being asked to leave a fax which don't need to do, also at the time of this review the website seems to just show a cannot find page display, it was working yesterday, so I guess all the complaints they know about, I'm going to see what my ba ...

    I ordered a collection of items from Boys Stuff on the 10th of December for Christmas 2006, one of which was my wife's Christmas pressie. On the 19th a large box arrived with some items missing. 9 days?... Pretty poor delivery. It took me all morning to get through on the phone, as there were no replies to my emails, only to be told that the remaining items were in transit in a separate box. They never arrived in time for Christmas, and here we are on the 8th of January, and still nothing!! ...

    The candles arrived in 2 slightly battered plain white boxes and certainly weren't worth the money. I wanted them as a gift but they weren't good enough. As they were heavy to post, I decided to keep them myself and thank goodness I did. The chocolatiere had obviously been opened previously, the packets inside were opened, the chocolate mould was dented and the box had definitely seen better days.     I purchased a head massager for my husband for Christmas from Boys Stuff which never arrived. Boys Stuff said my address did not exist. I asked for a refund, and they said they would only refund on item cost. I asked for proof that the item had been posted and they said they didn't have any. The link for delivery status doesn't work. 30 days later I have still received no item or refund. They won't reply to my emails.

    I normally use play.com and they are normal, then I decided to use www.boysstuff.co.uk big mistake. Paid for next day delivery, it is now 6 days later. They do not reply to your emails and so called customer service do not ring back after I explained I have a pc based cctv with time and date stamp and no delivery has been tried, they never phoned back so its my bank investigating them.

    I have been useing Boysstuff for about a year it is grate to buy the gadgets that will allow you to have a very good tim you can get anything from elastic band shotgun to the very fun twister bed covering!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
