Performance is okay, quite similar to an old Ericsson PF768 I had. But now, just under a year and still under warranty, it's wonky. It has been treated with TLC and does not justify this behaviour! Anyway, I know of 3 other Sagem phones (don't know exact model numbers but know they that share the same instruction manual) owned by friends and relatives and only 1 survived a year, and then only just. It's dead now, with all the symptoms of battery failure (it's not battery failure). Sample number...

Generally the Sagem MC922 mobile phone is OK and I really enjoy the speaker phone. Only three weaknesses found so far: (1) cannot do SIM card un-bloking, (2) no ID shown when SMS message comes even when the caller is listed on phone book, and (3) cannot make my own ring-tone....

In general, the Sagem mc922 is a mobile phone which suited for the price but, all the same, the reception is a bit poor compared to models like t20'S, nokia 3310....

Sagem MC 922 is a cute phone and has many useful features. The menu is a bit confusing and the screen is quite dull. But all the same, it's good value for money. I used to have an ericsson T20, but then I got mugged and it was yanked from me in the dangerous streets of Nairobi. That's when I decided to get the Sagem MC922. The features are similar and actually cost me less. I knew that it didn't have WAP features at the time I purchased it but I didn't feel it as such since the WAP issue is not...

I had this phone for two months in that time i had two replacements both with Battery failures! Coincidence? Yeah right. The problem is right thought the range. I insisted on a new, better model (not sagem) in the end. Would be a much better phone if their hardware and software didn't conflict!...

Recently I bought a Sagem MC 922 mobile phone, the catalogue is in French which I don't understand. They should insert English catalogues inside the packs. The agents are unable to help or direct us....

Can easily get damaged or locked-up if you try to test it to it's limits. Avoid deep discharging of battery, or-else it will never wake-up unless you put a new battery and that too if you are lucky. (Try Lithium-Ion instead of Nickel MH)...

I fully agree with the review & I have also landed up with a similar problem of the phone not starting up after a deep discharge.

The mobile phone was kept without charging for about four days after which it was not able to get charged. It was observed that the charger was working perfectly well but the phone was not switching on. Hence i am disappointed with the purchase of this model. ...

Well, it is true that if you over discharge Sagem MC 922 it will go in coma mode (but not dead) I have experienced this problem, but then it was my mistake that I repeatedly switched-on the mobile even when it was saying "Battery too low" followed by "auto switch-off". The problem usually gets fixed if you just replace the battery with a new one. The problem can be minimised if you use a Lithium Ion battery instead of a Nickel MH battery.

The Sagem MC922 is a cute mobile phone with many functions. It took me a few hours to get used to it. I found it difficult to understand the instruction manual, especially the ringtone and directory section. Zainuri Jaafar- Malaysia

Can be a bit dull, no interesting things about it really.
The ring tunes are absolutly brilliant. Thing is that the
menu is easy to use, but some of the options are a bit
confusing. Very open to damage, and sometimes crashes, the
screen goes blank until you hit the key pad a bit. Nippy
little phone with brilliant reception. Nice phone to use
especially with the built in hands-free kit. Nice phone....
