Good Points: Very durable light weight easy to pump lasts years and years good sights for general shooting
Bad Points: Hard to drop pellets in correctly they turn sideways or back in the resavoir
General comments: Very good gun it was my first pellet gun ive had it for about 6 years still works the same will punch a hole in anything with either a bb or a pellet

This gun is great, i killed a rabbit with a pellet and he fell right over and kicked for about 3-4 seconds. he was about 5-6 pounds HUGE!! for a rabbit. i also shot a squirrel straight through the head and came out and the pellet stuck in the tree.
IMPORTANT use pellets they are more accurate and dont ware out your rifleing in the barrel

The Daisy Powerline 880 is cheap gun with know accuracy. Shoots low and to the right just can' t seem to get the thing to sight in.

I will try returning the gun to the store where I bought it and then re-assess since the over all view point of the readers of this sight is that it was fairly accurate.

I started off with the original 880 and loved it, until it got jammed and ruined. So I got another one and was very displeased. It is all cheap plastic, feels like it will fall apart, I hate the neon sight. The newer models are just horrible. Plus the fact that they don't keep their power and accuracy for long. Daisy use to make quality airguns but anymore I would steer away.

A great Begginner Gun. I own two and have taken out 5 squirell and only probably 7 have come within range. Sprayed Camo and ready for next season. Have shot a THUMB TACK twice. I recommend getting the powerline 3x9-32 scope (walmart 30.00)

I love shooting this gun.
It's comfortable. It can easily shoot through both sides of a beer can - even if it hits the thicker bottom "corner".
Quiet, doesn't scare the neighbors.
Trigger feels good.
I've tried scopes on it and it works well, but I like open sights, especially with the front fiber optic.
I don't shoot many BBs in it because I understand they'll wear the rifled barrel.
It's a great gun to go out in the backyard and wear out some targets or cans.

The older Daisy 880's where made better. metal receivers better sights and an overall heftier feel. And the older 880's shot with some real accuracy. This is what I think. These new over manufactured, plastic/plastic 880's are just a big money making gimmick, nothing but a cheap spinoff of what was once a fine air rifle. Don't waste your money.

Ive had this gun for about 3 years now and i have had a hell of a time trying to zero in the scope... i thought if i bought a new scope it might help. it didnt.
The iron sights arent that bad though... i gave it a seven because it is moderately powerful and fun to shoot. Lets just say that I got a 2" grouping at 4 yards, and I had it on a rest and i didnt change the sights at all. so you tell me...

I really didn't know what to think. When I was young My friends had Crossman 760s, Daisy Powerline 880s, and Red Ryders. We would nail sparrows, pigeons, and mice and drop them easy. We'd try each others guns and have the same success. So when I went to buy a Powerline 880 I expected a good accurate gun for target and varmint control. I sighted in the scope the best I could considering how wild the shots hit the target. I was a mere 7 yards away in a prone position. I was able to hold the gun de ...

I feel like throwing the gun right in the trash as you can't return "firearms" back to Walmart. The company says you have a year warrenty....but is it worth the postage....Am I confident that it will be fixed or replaced with a gun which shoots accurately? I believe that any more money spent on this gun would be a total Waste. So it is what it is: a suck gun!! I wish that I still had the scope off of my old 880 this one is poor. This gun is poor even by China standards!!!!!!

At first when I got my 880 I put on the scope and was not able to zero in but after looking at the scope mounts I noticed they lean out to the right side a little bit so I turned them to lean to the left because I am a right handed shooter. after that I was able to zero in the scope in a couple of minutes and was very accurate with daisy pointed pellets,I tried various pellets (daisy, crosman) and found the daisy more accurate.I have been killing rats and grackles ever since with 1 shot kills. no ...

Look, it's not like the world is depending on this BB rifle, but for fun, it's powerful, has a really cool sound when it fires, and has some serious velocity for a BB rifle. Plus, the range is over 200 yards...that's big....good value for the money. I just hope I don't accidently shoot my neighbors window out!!!
